Freeway world series?
Question:I just read Sports illustrated en espanol and they predicted that the world series would end up to be the Angles vs the Dodgers. Do u think this is a possibility and who do you think will be better this year?

I had to laugh at that when I saw the same item in Sports Illustrated about two weeks ago. It's funny to say that the Dodgers will be in the World Series when you have multiple teams in the NL that will be fighting for playoff position. I'm not ragging on Dodgers fans, but as for right now I will be shocked if they get into the playoffs. I mean between Arizona, St. Louis, Cincinnati, San Diego, Chicago, Atlanta, and New York, (and to a lesser extent Houston, Philadelphia, and Florida) it will be very hard for the Dodgers to get into the playoffs. Out of 16 teams in the NL, eleven of them will be reaching for a playoff spot. The Dodgers have the motivation but it depends on if the Diamondbacks fall later in the season, if the Mets, Reds, Cubs, and Phillies allow room to breathe in the wild card race, and if Atlanta and St Louis form out to be 90+game winners. I give the Angels a big advantage over the Dodgers if it does happen, but that is a very big IF.i read the same thing,and laughed my *** off! sports illustrated is always wrong! it is possible, but with angels injuries, i highly doubt it! and if you believe what they say, you are puto bendecko!

Angels will be better because of their offense and somewhat decent defense. The Dodgers have put together a good team as well but I question their pitching. Jason S. is throwing like a girl. Both teams need to add another good starting pitcher and Dodgers still need a reliable closer other than Saito.In terms of making the World Series, I would predict that the Angels will have a better chance. The American League looks pretty pathetic.

I think a freeway series is possible. Both teams have started the season well and are supose to be real solid this year. I've heard several people pick the Dodgers to lose in the world series. If a freeway series happen it wont be a surprise, at least to me anyway.What is the original name of softball?

Anything is possible. The 1989 Bay Bridge Series and the 2000 Subway Series--were Fall Classics showcasing cross-town rivals. The 1944 World Series with the Browns and Cardinals or how about the 1985 I-70 Series with the Kansas City Royals and St Louis Cardinals (two MLB teams in Missouri). Why not a 2007 Freeway Series? It could happen.Is it possible? Yes. Will it happen? Doubt it. I don't believe the Dodgers will make it to the WS with their sloppy defense, and i think the Halos will be better
