In the yahoo baseball linescores--what does(H) mean when it's beside a relief pitchers name?
Is this even a real question? Football...If I would ask that question I think my balls would shrivel up and crawl inside of me.
What do you think is the hardest position in baseball, and why?
baseball.I love this game, the stl cardinals are my team...plus I played it in high school, was a pitcher and 1st baseman, but did also play wide receiver in footbal and fwd guard in basketball.but love baseballI think that it is just a sad joke that baseball is the national past time. Football is much more entertaining, not to mention the professional baseball is WAY too long. Any sport in which a team can lose 80 games in a season and still make the playoffs is just too damn long. Football is much more dramatic, every game counts, and the crowds are much more into the games than any other sport in America.
Okay, so Mr. Jeter's a hottie?
Scamming. Who can be richer by taking advantage of the innocent ignorants. The cheaters get the money, but the consequence is Destruction. So when the tables are turned, the losers really are the winners. In my opinion baseball is the best.
I can't describe to you why it's best because, unless you love it,
you won't understand.
You just have to watch american sports and decide for yourself which one you like best. But I suggest you watch baseball!

Probably the NFL or NBA because people like fast paced stuff, but my heart and soul is with baseball. I'm a Yankee fan, but the first baseball stadium I ever went to was Shea Stadium to see the NY Jets play. The day was gorgeous, and when I saw that grass I was hooked. The baseball park is my favorite place in the world to be. Major league, minor league, home, away, slugfest, pitchers duel... it doesn't matter. I love baseball.
In my heart of hearts, I'd love to say that baseball is, but that's not really the case. The NFL has taken over as the #1 sport in America by leaps and bounds. Hell, ESPN is already talking about how great next year's NFL regular season match ups are going to be, and baseball season isn't even two weeks old! The first sport I ever watched was baseball. First sport I ever played was baseball. First sport I ever loved was baseball. However, it's taken a backseat to the NFL. The reason for this is that Americans love fast paced, action packed, war like sport that quenches their insatiable thirst for stimulating entertainment, and that is what the NFL offers with every snap of the pigskin.

I'll say baseball because I'm always answering questions in baseball. Sometimes math and science, but mostly baseballOK let me put it to you straight.I'm a baseball nut and on any other day that would be my answer. But after this years college basketball tournament I'm gonna say March Madness is the best thing going in this day and age.The way the tourney is held, with all the quality teams left out of the 64 (65) team field, the way those young men play for their school and pride instead of the almighty $$.
Is there going to be a Santana vs. Matsuzaka showdown this year?
Football period!! Most of us love baseball. But everybody loves football even more so with fantasy football. How many baseballs does an average major league use?
There is no "best sport", per se. You didn't say, so I'm assuming that you're talking about spectator sports. The "best" sport is the one that you enjoy the most-either to play or to watch.nascar
