Question:and have never taken any drugs, steroids or HGH. You've played in the major for nearly 20 years. You've been fortunate to be able to put up hall of fame numbers including making a real challenge at the all time home run record. Suddenly you are accused, not only by the media but fellow players, of taking all of these chemicals in order to create an unfair advantage over your peers and make it easier to break that all time home run record. You know for a fact that you've NEVER taken anything in your entire life. You're innocent of any charges or innuendos. You have every chance to clear your name and put an end to all the charges. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Tell my mgr I want to take a drug test.I'd tell them" pick a site." I'd ask two or three sportswriters to go with me (and my agent), and I'd ask the directing dr to schedule a press conference to reveal the findings, an I' d invite the press to cover it.,
When the conf was over,I'd just say "thanks for coming" and leave.
If clear, i would also tell the press I will never again consent to the interview until the person who started all this step foreward and apologize and explain why he did it.

if you have never done any drugs at all just stick with your answer, if you tell everybody you have never taken anything to give yourself an advantage and they dont beleive you then thats there problem, just go about with your life, if you know in your heart your not lying then that should give you peace, thats what i would do, because you know the media and how they love to make ppl seem bad just to publish it so millions of ppl will read/hear it, the media never cares about ppls feelings, if your fellow peers dont beleive you then they r jealous of your ability to hit a ball farWho Is Your Favorite Baseball Player, As A 3rd Basemen.?

I'd keep my cool. It's bad enough that people think of me as a cheater, I don't want them to think of me as some tempermental crackhead too. I'd sue the media to prove my innocence. If people still thought of me as a cheater, well, I'd be pissed off but I'd do my best not to let it affect my game. It's not like I can control what people think of me. I'd try to make them think I was a FAIR player.

Absolutely nothing. People will say what they will say, either way it goes. Of course, there will be no positive tests for banned substances, but that will not quiet anyone who doesn't want to believe facts. What it comes down to is, do I say nothing and appear guilty for not defending myself, or do I say anything, and not only appear guilty, but a liar too. It is a catch 22, and not a situation I want to be in. I don't envy Mr. Bonds for one second.
