Why did the red sox wear green last night?
He'll be the first to eclipse 800, I think. He's 31 right now with 479 career home runs. He's averaging almost 45/162 games, and assuming he won't play every game of every season and that is power numbers will decrease at some time. So for the rest of his career, he'll average between 35 and 45 home runs. Plus right now he is 11 years younger than Bonds. So assuming he stays injury free, A-Rod could push for 900, depending on how long he plays.I would have to say over 800. Of course he has to stay healthy but he certainly has the talent to do so. Pujois is incredible. If he continue to hit around .330 for his career and end up with 800 plus home runs he would have to be considered the greatest every day player of all time. I always put pitchers in a separate category
Here's a hard one. What's the first play in World Series history?
Hopefully he'll hit more than Bonds. Remember when everyone thought Ken Griffey Jr. would break the record. A few years on the DL ended that. So, just because A-Rod has so many right now doesn't mean that he won't get injured later in his career and come short. When will Chris Carpenter be back?
maybe about 950 if he stays heathly and has a bat behind himMore Questions & Answers...
