How do the Nats turn their season around?
Question:The Kastan and Bowden reign in DC is causing nothing but problems for the franchise, the Livan and Vidro trades can now be seen as salary dumps rather than pragmatic dealing and there's very little coming thru the farm system. Plus whilst the pitching has been better than expected, the hitting is verging on the pathetic.
So can the Nats turn it around and how, I've got a feeling that trading for Langerhans is somehow not the answer...
PS I speak as an Expos/Nats fan of 11 years standing - not bad for a UK resident!

How many runs will Daisuke Matsuzaka give up today to Kansas City. Closest anwer gets 10 points?
they're not going to get it turned around this year, and probably not for the next few years thereafter...they are a team playing for its future and auditioning its young players at the major league level to see whether or not they are likely capable of playing at this level in the future and being consistent performers...also, they have had a few injuries which haven't helped, and the fact that they haven't gotten anything out of their farm system is actually rather troubling because they have a number of players in the everyday lineup who are either old, injury prone, or boththis team is a few years away, but they can eventually get back to the point they were at a couple years ago when they were in the playoff race for most of the season, they just need to let their youngsters, especially in the starting rotation, develop
Why do the delusional Bonds fans always say he's never failed a drug test in his life??
This is a young team thats trying to build a foundation for it's future. They are currently trying to find a decent or good chemistry of players for that future. As for turning it around they just don't have a lot of money nor trade bait to do anything that would make a huge impact to that degree.
Unfortunately the team is what is it right now and Nat fans will have to sit tight for a few years until they get better.
What player on your favorite team needs to go! The team needs to cut him?
a great offense is a great defense, forget the pitching, the nats need to start hitting,is sad to lose 3-0 to the brewers, the nats are just not hitting, its the only turn around that will help win gamesMore Questions & Answers...
