Why is barry bonds allowed to keep on his path...?
Question:when he admitted that he used steroids, admitted to cheating on his wife, cheating on his taxes and cheating on the game.
If they are going to allow this why hasn't Pete Rose been reinstated yet? seems betting on some games is minor compared to what barry bonds has done. He is such a loser... why does anyone even pitch to him?
Hank Aaron was an honorable player... and MLB should do their best to keep the record with someone of honor.

Bonds did admit to unknowingly taking steroids, but they weren't banned at the time.As for cheating on his wife and taxes, those are ethical issues, but they have nothing to do with the game on the field. What Rose did was directly related to baseball.
I dislike Bonds, and I think he's a black mark on the game. However, he hasn't really done anything for which he can be punished.

He never admitted to doing any of those. Pete Rose bet on more than some games. He bet on hundreds of games included a lot of Reds games. Also there is proof that Rose did bet and also betting on baseball games is against MLB rules. He had now admitted that he bet on games and that is why he is banned from MLB. Steriods until a couple of years ago was not against MLB rules. Therefore he did nothing wrong.

Bonds has never admitted to taking steroids and his other personal issues do not affect the game of baseball. If Bonds was banned from baseball they should also ban the other hundreds of players that took steroids like Mcgwire, Sosa, Giambi but no one goes after these player. Giambi admitted to take steroids but no one chase him. The only problem with Bonds taking steroids is that he is going to break the all time record for home runs. They would no care if he was the all time base stealer and took steroids. Bonds is just a easy target since he is close to a record. Steroids were not banned in baseball until two years ago so anything he did prior was still not a violation of the MLB contract.Rose on the other hand bet on games while he was a manager. He possibly compromised the integrity of the game he was in and affected. If you had $10,000 on the line to lose a game wouldn't you make some bad decisions that lead to a loss.
MLB has no honor by allowing steroids to go on for so long and everyone knew about it. The commish and all the owners wanted butts in the seats after the strike and everyone know this, chicks dig the long ball( and so does everyone else.)
my thing is that everyone who is against barry bons should sign a petition for pitchers, when bonds gets one away from the record, to keep walking him until he gets tired of it and quits. that way the record will be preserved and bonds name will never tarnish it. i think the difference between this and rose is that rose got caught.
First, the only time I have heard that Barry Bonds admitted all the things you said was from the mouth of Curt Schilling. Second, Pete Rose is dishonest about his problem. He only admits to a little bit every 5 years when he sees it might help his selfish cause to be acknoweledged and praised on TV. If Barry Bonds did admit to all that, I would still like him because he is not a coward to admit he is human. The only person I know who hasn't done something foolish like cheating is a fictitious propane-selling cartoon character.

Anybody got a theory as to why offense keeps going up?
First off, Rose bet not on "some," but on a sh*tload of games, including those of his own team. That rule was etched in stone long before Pete Rose was even born. Rose should never be reinstated, period.Second, while Bonds is a loser with no ethics, baseball shot themselves in the foot over the steroids and performance-enhancing drugs issue a long time ago. This could have (and should have) been addressed about 20 years ago. It wasn't, and Bonds (among others) has shamelessly reaped the benefit of that unfortunate, but still gaping, loophole.
If baseball really did something gutsy like kick Bonds out forever, a lot of other, much more popular guys would have to follow him out. MLB doesn't have those kind of guts, though, so Bonds' tainted numbers will stick. He will have to pay by hopefully never going to the National Baseball HOF.
