King Felix or Matsuzaka?
Question:Hernandez totally stole the show from him yesterday will a high 90s fast ball with late movement and a high 80s curveball and low 90s slider, his stuff was absolutly nasty. Not to mention he's 5 years younger. I think the choice is obviously King Felix but lets here your opinions.

I think the jury is still out on Matsuzaka. I think the Dice man will be around for awhile, but give me King Felix. The guy has a nasty cutter and slider and I just envision him being the next Roger Clemens of this era.Was it worth it for Cubs to spend about $300 million during Off-season?

King Felix! He is only 21 years old and has better stuff. He can still pitch 99 mph in the 8th inning! He has one of the nastiest curveballs I've ever seen. He will even get better since he still has his entire career in front of him. He will definitely hve a bright future in this league. Right now, he's doing better than any pitcher, and I even think he will win the AL Cy Young.Where did Gabe Kapler ( of the Red Sox ) go?

No doubt it's King Felix. Last year he was sub-par, but the Mariners were not allowing him to throw his slider due to his young age, not wanting to beat up his arm so early in his career. This year they're letting him loose, and you can see the difference.

the red sox hitters didnt help themselves at all.they didnt try to disrupt his rhythm at all.felix was very good,dice-k was ok.dont base the season on two starts.It's true that Felix out-dueled Matsuzaka. But we can't really say anything because we haven't seen Dice-K enough to say whose better. We can't use the WBC since he wasn't always up against major league teams. By the All -Star Break, we'll be able to tell

I would take Matsuzaka because of his age. Felix has tons of potential and will probably be a great pitcher, but the same was being said about Kerry Wood and Mark Prior a few years ago. Dice-K has proven that he can hold up to the rigors of a full season in Japan and Felix still has to prove that he can remain consistently great without injury. Both will be good if not great MLB pitchers though.More Questions & Answers...
