Where can I find footage of Chicago cubs fans booing that guy for catching ball in world series?
Question:Someone was telling me the other day about how they almost won but some fan caught the ball causing them NOT to get an out and they lost the series. The guy was crying and had to be escorted out of the stadium cuz the crowd was so hostile. This was in the 90's?

Anyone know at what Hotel in For Lauderdale the Phillies stay when they play the Marlins?
Search YouTube for "Steve Bartman"It has to be there. If not, just try a yahoo or google search on him. It was the 2003 National League Championship Series. Good luck.
Wouldn't you guys like to see baseball played in the rain?
First, it wasn't the World Series but the League Championship Series.Secind, The ball was in the stands, and the individual was fully entitled to it. This did NOT cost the Cubs a chance at the WS. They still had plenty of time during that game to win it. They simply couldn't be bothered motivating themselves to do so. The crowd was hostile? This individual just about needed the Witness Protection Program. The crowd was more than hostile. it was ugly. And the worst part about it was that the crowd was dead wrong in their perception of the whole thilng. All of it because Moises Alou decided that he had to whine to the umpire and ask, when he knew better, for a call of fan interference. If you want a real goat, it's Alou.
Third, it was 2003.
First of all, it wasn't in the World Series. But if you wan't footage, google "Steve Bartman". That is the name of the guy who bobbled it.
