Is this unsportsmanlike behavior.?
Question:I went to a Dodgers/Padres game last year in Los Angeles and with the Dodgers leading in 8-0 in the bottom of the ninth inning and the Dodger's Furcal stole second base. Is this considered unsportmanship to steal a base with that big of a lead playing at home so late in the game? Please think before answering.

Why is Manny Ramirez struggling this year?
Trick question. The home team (Dodgers) would not be batting in the bottom of the ninth with the lead. The game would have ended when the Padres were retired in the top of the ninth.(PS -- Even the "game" you went to is made up. I looked up the 2006 Ddogers, and an 8-0 win over San Diego never happened).
I don't think so. These guys' salaries are determined by their stats. They owe it to themselves and their families to do their best so as to make sure they don't lose their job/revenue to another guy with better stats.
What's a good nickname for Papelbon?
No, he's just playing the game. If the Padres aren't good enough to keep the game close, too bad.If Jackie Robinsons number 42 jersey is retired then how does Marino Rivera where the same number?
Nice one. Trick question right? There is no bottom of the ninth if the home team is leading. The game is over. Why do the Texas Rangers stink?
Furcal did'nt steal second base the game would have been overunsportsmanslike behavior is usually when there is an over aggressiveness physically towards another player. i once saw the astros lose after leading by 9 runs to the cubs who scored 10 in the last inning. so stealing a base when leading by a considerable amount is fine.
That doesnt make any sense. If the Dodgers were up 8-0, there would not be a bottom of the 9th.
How do you think the Yankees will do this year since there pitching is done?
the game would have been over if the home team (Dodgers) were leading, the game would have ended once the padres were retiredWhy are local Little Leagues allowed to impose a time limit on games?
The winning team should stop trying to score runs when the losing team stops trying to catch up.It might have been showboating but it wasn't unsportsmanlike.
