Play with the grip, figure out what works for you, then practice.alot.

It took me about 2 years (from the time I first started pitching in high school) to get a good curve, then I got to college and learned that my curve wasn't that good after all. lol. Seriously though, it takes alot of practice. There are some guys in the majors that still trying to perfect their ability to throw a curve.

If you're under 14, you don't. Trust me. I know what I'm talking about. My son pitches in the Blue Jays organization. If your serious about pitching there will be plenty of time afterwards to develop "stuff". Good Luck.
