Do you think Schilling is upset that the Sox paid Dice-K 101 million dollars?

Question:I'm only asking this because Schilling has been acting very weird as of late and for a guy with as much class as he has it doesn't make a lot of sense at all with some of the things he has done recently.

Was it a slap in the face to him that the Sox paid Dice-K that amount of money before he ever pitched in the majors yet Schilling is the #1 starter? I'm just asking.

Why was Paul DePodesta fired by the Dodgers?

First of all, the Sox did NOT pay Matsuzaka $101 million. They gave him a 6-year, $52 million contract, with the other $50 million going to his Japanese team for the rights to deal with Dice-K.

So, Dice makes an average of about $9m per season on his current contract. Schilling, on the other hand, makes $13m per season on his current contract, almost 50% more than what Matsuzaka will be paid on average over the length of his contract.

My guess, then, is that Schilling isn't feeling too resentful. He knows the Sox want to win, and he also knows that he's paid more than Matsuzaka.

Does anyone know what kind of sunglasses Luke Scott wears on the field while he's playing?

When has Curt Schilling ever had class? The guy is the biggest complainer/ whiner there is. Between he and Gary Sheffield there is no two guys that are more about them selves getting paid and less about the team. I know it upset him that they have a higher paid pitcher than him and if he doesn't get at least the same he will be going somewhere else.

Why so many questions about Mo's 42?

I think it's possible that it's a money issue although we all know Schilling likes to be the center of attraction. He really did put his foot in his mouth yesterday. It's not to say that the majority of people would like to see Bonds fail. It's just that Schilling and Bonds have never gotten along so this new wrinkle has become part of the on going soap opera.

Schilling is passed his prime. He has also made millions of dollars playing a kids game for many years. He should have nothing to complain about. If Dice-K cut a deal for himself, good for him. Schilling doesn't have the right be upset about it.

What teams played in the 1919 world series?

No, Schilling is in the twilight of his career. At 26, Dice-K could be a ace for the Sox for 10 years.

Who is the most exciting player to watch?

yes He is very upset as well as he should be

Why do major league baseball players not play pepper anymore?

Good point. Schilling has been acting weird and he knows better than to talk about a mans family regardless of what he thinks of Bonds. Bonds's family has nothing to do with it.

Schilling has been showing random acts of emotions that emulate a pregnant woman and mood swings.

There is something up there.
