Daisuke matsuzaka's gyroball to end his career (future)?
Question:does anyone else seeing how dice-k throws around the high 90's with his "gyroball" pitch and how much twist and pull and maneuvering of the body he must go through to throw it think that he'll eventually throw out his arm from all the wear and tear? I mean your arm isnt even meant to be throwing 80 mph it does wear you and on top of that throwing how he does I think he'll bust the arm in about 2 years tops. But hell who cares when your making over 100m a year... please give me your opinions! GO BRAVES!!!

Will the sale price of the Cubs top $100?
My opinion is that you had me when you observed that an unusual motion can wreck a pitcher, although it didn't hurt another foreign-born Sox pitcher, Luis Tiant. And then you lost me when you announced you were a Braves fan. Though that means you're aware that Maddux, Glavine and Smoltz have never had unusual motions, and have lasted so long, and that was a big reason why the Braves always made the Playoffs.Keep in mind that Matsuzaka is 29 or so, and has never pitched through a 162-game season, much less done so over a few years. He might be done at around 34 anyway, regardless of how good he turns out to be this season.
Who is your fav baseball player?
I love questions like this.Dice-K doesn't have a gyroball. In fact, it is nearly impossible for him to throw it because of his over-the-top arm motion. It's a ball with slider spin that goes straight. Basically, it's a change-up with sideways spin.
Dice-K has thrown many innings prior to coming over here and 33 starts on the year and 200 IP is nothing too much out of the ordinary. He threw 219 IP his last year in Japan.
