Who will be in the final running for MVP? AL and NL?
They're only interested in the NHL playoffs right now. They probably treat baseball like many Americans treat hockey. Most hockey teams in the U.S. get weak attendance numbers unless they're doing really well and it's close to playoffs time. People aren't going to pay money to see a mediocre team play a sport they don't really care about. If a team's playing extremely well, here come the people jumping on the bandwagon.could it be because there is really no1 that good on the team...other than Vernon Wells and Roy Halladay??..if Vernon still plays there that is...cnt member if he does or not
How does the MLB luxury tax work?
thats because they are proboly lower in the rankins that red sox and the yannkys. Why does the white sox owner scream poverty?
Maybe it's because Blue Jays fans have no loyalty to their team. You also have to realize that Red Sox fans are everywhere. When ever we go on the road, there always seem to be a good number of Red Sox fans at those games.GO SOX!!
What team has the best facilities in baseball?
Thats the way it is in every park the Sox play in, Toronto is no different. Red Sox fans are everywhere and the proof comes every time Kevin Youkalis comes to bat with chants of YOOOOOOOK!!Is there really a better Starting Rotation than Zito, Cain, Lowry, Morris and Russ Ortiz?
That's how it is around major league ballparks of mediocre teams, everyone has jumped on the bandwagon due to the excessive media coverage of the sox and yankees, and none of these good teams from the past, blue jays, etc., have as strong or loyal of following anymore after a few years of losing.Should MLB raise its Hall of Fame standards?
Maybe people just love to watch baseball. I'm a Yankees fan,but it doesn't matter who's playing,if i can get tickets, i'll go watch. And yeah, Yankee fans and Red Sox fans are everywhere... i mean everywhere. A true fan of baseball doesn't hate another team, they just watch the game for what it is.a game. What can i do to encourage my baseball team to beat the best team in the league??
This is usually the case simply because tickets in Boston & NY are hard to get (though, speaking of loyalty to a team and answering boston fan 4 posts before me, where were your sellouts in the early 90's, with a poor team and no media machine?) and its a reasonably short trip to Toronto. This goes for Yankee fans as well. There are also fans of the red sox everywhere (thanks to that same media machine), so them & the yankees can expect some support wherever they go.
