Well, there isn't a lot of pitching available. Plus, the D-Rays might not be willing to give up prospects for a medicore lefty. You also have to remember, they don't have a lot of $$ (or they do, and just don't want to spend it on the team) so they can't blow $10 million a year on a releiver with a 7.53 ERA.Is it weird that I throw left-handed but bat right-handed?

because the d-rays are ran by idiots. they have all this young talent that they never trade away to make a better team, cantu is a perfect example. I guarantee you there is some team that would trade a good middle reliever for cantu, he makes some great plays defense wise, and if given the whole year could hit around 275. not great, but not bad either for a defensive middle infielder.They hold onto these kids waiting for some team to pay out the nose for them, and it never happens. and they keep losing, and losing. on a different note though, I will say that the Trop is a nice place to catch a game. I went down last august to see them play the red sox and its pretty nice.
