He will challenge Santana very much for Cy Young.I feel that he WILL indeed be a multiple Cy Young winner and possibly a hall of famer... but he's too young to say that now.
Aaron Miles jams his music loud in the club house?!!?

Who is your favorite MLB announcer, not local?
lot of things factor into the answer such as health. if he isnt healthy he will end up like mark prior. if his team continues to suck then he might end up like dontrelle willis who was hyped a couple years back.Do you want barry bonds to get the home run record? why?
GOOD ONLY 21 A PROMOSING FUTUREIs the baseball logo a silhouette of anyone?
He'll end his career with 250+ wins and 3,000+ Ks.Does anyone think the Mariners will be any good this year?
Let's see, he is entering his second year plus he plays at best on a mediocre team, he will be an above average pitcher for almost all of his career if he keeps the his weight down. He's good for 15-17 wins for the next 4-5 years and after that if he can get with a team that can supply some runs and he stays healthy, the sky could be the limit. Let's see where he's at 5-6 years down the road, we will know by then...look at Mark Prior, had one good year and then his shoulder and arm went out, so I am tempering my enthusiasm but hoping for the best as I enjoy watching him pitch. Since losing the weight he carried last year he sure is a different pitcher.Does anyone besides me think that The Cubs have a ...?
If he can avoid serious injury and takes care of himself, he can become one of the greats. He has enormous poise for a 20 year old.One can never tell...looking at past history of ultra young pitching arms comin into the majors & you'll see their careers waver in different directions. The last picther of his age & caliber of stuff & mechanics that I have seen was Rick Ankiel in 2001, at age 20 he posted an 11-7 record and a 3.50 ERA (9th in the league) and 194 strikeouts, but things fell apart for the kid. Hernandez has the size build that could make him great like a Roger Clemens or falter like a Bartolo Colon, its hard to extrapolate too far intot he future but i think the King will have a great year, likely win 20+ & challenge Santana for the Strikeout Crown (IF, IF...Seattle allows him to churn innings - one thing i like is they are not babying him like the Yankees are with Phillip Hughes).
Jus imagine how dominant Dwight Gooden was as a rookie, at 19 ----------->>won 17 games (the most by a 19-year-old since 1964). The youngest All-Star selection in baseball history, Gooden led the league in strikeouts (276, breaking Herb Score's rookie record of 245 in 1955), and also set the record for most strikeouts in three consecutive starts with 43.
**these days pitchers are coddled and are expected to throw 5 or 6 innings)**Even if they were the best at 19,20 they have to fight so many who tell them that all they have in thier arm is 6 inning ..
