Josh Hancock's Father is a bas*&^d?
Question:He is now suing the restaurant, the restaurant manager, the tow truck company, the tow truck driver and the driver of the broken down car for causing the accident that his son died in. My question is this. How much of a scum bag is the father for blaming everyone else except his son for what happened? And how much of a bigger piece of garbage is the lawyer who took the case? All opinions are welcomed.
Answers:
Yes, at some point he has to check himself and say that maybe my kid was at fault. But the anger over losing your son sometimes clouds that better judgement.
You're right though, if he doesn't, he looks real bad; but the lawyer is the biggest scumbag in all of it, he just sees $$$$.
Who's the greatest baseball player most baseball fans have never even heard of?
yes, he seems to be a little bas*&rdly. But, he just lost his son... you should be able to know why he would be doing that.Sports fans in New York (Met fans especially), are you sick of the "Yankee Bias?"?
Josh Hancock may have been drunk, while driving, his dad may not be the brightest person alive, and its a miracle Josh did not hurt anyone besides himself.Your question is stupid, because a person is dead, and he can't defend himself.Who has the record in total home-runs hit in MLB?
He should be arrested for fraud. He is not going to win though because that does not explain the fact that hs son was also high and talking on his phone even if he was drunk. Hopefully someone conters his suit and costs him a lot of money because he is a total a*le for pulling this junk, this is the problem with America, people who file frivoulous lawsuits and do not get punished. Anyone who tries to sue anyone because their son died while driving drunk, high, and on the phone should be thrown in jail!Edit: To extend, yes there is legal precident that you can sue an establishment for serving someone who is drunk but this is not just a case where the person was drunk, he was also high and talking on his cell phone, that is not the resteraunts fault. That is none of the people fault involved but Josh Hancocks. People are saying that those appalled by this dont have compassion, well I do, I am sorry that Josh Hancock made a stupid decision and drove drunk and high but I am more thankful that he didnt kill someone else because of his stupidity, he was an adult, he knew what he was doing. There is a difference between compasion and supporting a scam artist looking to make a buck off his sons death and name. Maybe next his father will spill hot coffee on himself and then go after Starbucks. I am sorry that Josh Hancock is dead, it is sad and a talent was lost but that is HIS OWN DANG FAULT! Further, this has nothing to do with his dad being in moourning, that is a front and you are nieve if you believe that because obviously he would be pushing for the restaurant to have their liquor license revoked instead of looking for the $$$. I wouldnt be so angered except he is doing this out of mourning you can tell because he would be pushing to punish the people he is trying to blame insteadof pushing to fatten his pockets. Compassion goes a long way but you also have to see through fake garbage and scams.
Did Babe Ruth really call his homerun in the 1932 World Seires?
Looking to profit from his sons death, that's classy. I can understand the basis behind suing the restaurant and the restaurant manager - they served him after he was already intoxicated. I don't agree with it at all, but I understand it. However, wasn't he on his way to another bar for more drinks?? As far as suing the driver of the car that broke down and the tow truck driver, that is just insane. I hope those two file a counter suit claiming they were put in harms way by his sons reckless, drunken rampage behind the wheel of a 2-ton SUV.Here's another thing to think about. The giant tow truck he ran into probably kept him from killing somebody else. If he hit the stopped tow truck, its almost certain he would have hit the stalled car and could have easily killed that person.
On cablevision what channel are the Seattle Mariners on?
Have you ever lost someone close to you? More to the point, have you ever lost a child? It doesn't matter that this was a grown child, It was still his child. The man is in pain. He's angry, he's depressed, he still can't believe what has happened, and he's still trying to do whatever he can to protect the rest of his family in any way that he can. It's very hard to realize that it's OK to be angry with the person who died, whether they had anything to do with their own death or not. It happens to everyone, but it's very, very hard to to realize it, and to then be OK with it. It will happen, but it takes, time, a lot of time. These are all normal parts of the grief process.
There is plenty of legal precedent regarding successfully suing the restaurant and the restaurant manager. The rest is over reaching, and will likely be thrown out by the judge. A lawyer's job is not to pick and chose, but to support his/her client.
You might try a bit of compassion here. It will do you a world of good.
Is the career of Mark Prior over?
Unless you've walked in the same shoes you don't have a right to make these kinds of remarks. Who made you judge and jury? This whole situation is the embodiment of what is wrong with this country today. Josh Hancock is the only person to blame for any of this. I'm sorry he's dead and I'm sorry that his family is suffering right now. But what this all boils down to is people not wanting to take responsibility for their own actions or not letting someone take responsibility for their own actions. Josh Hancock is the only person responsible for how much he had to drink; he's the only person responsible for choosing to drive after drinking too much. And as sad and cold as this sounds, he is the only person responsible for his own death. But it's people like his father and his lawyer that feed this mindset that people in this country have today. "It's somebody else's fault..." and what's worse is the only reason anybody is doing anything is because they see a quick buck to be made. Hopefully whatever judge presides over this thing throws the case the hell out of court because this is nothing short of disgusting and despicable.
What MLB teams (AL or NL) has Kenny Lofton NOT played for?
I've never heard about the "sue everybody" stage in the grieving process, so it's hard to feel compassion for him when he's suing the tow truck driver and driver of the broken down car. Sure, the man is in pain, but I agree that this is pretty irrational.I am going to Boston in July to see the Red Sox and wondering where to park?
I agree. While its very sad to see someone at a young age such as Josh Hancock pass away, he did it to himself. When you're drunk, high, talking on your cell phone and speeding, there is NO ONE else to blame.
I can understand his dad may be irrational right now, because I imagine it must be devastating to lose your son, but damn, its no one else's fault.
