After reviewing many of these answers, I couldn't stop laughing. No one won 20 games last year, Wang and Santana came the closest. You say name one pitcher as if there will be multiple, in fact there probably wont be one. If anyone has a chance its Roy Oswalt. I don't give the nod to Santana who pitches in the AL, a much harder league to pitch in. No one has pitched more innings or won more games than Oswalt in the past 3 years. Hes pretty much a lock to flirt with 20 wins every season.So is the SOX game canceled today or what?
The easy choice is Santana .Beckett has a shot at it but I would put him more around 15-17 considering the bats in the AL East.Hernandez is good but not 20 game good yet.Believe it or not it if he stays healthy Kazmir has a shot.Who will win the NL Cy Young this year?!?
I doubt that anyone will win 20 games. It's been a couple of years since baseball has had a 20 game winner.If there are to be any 20 game winners. I'd look for it to come from the NL, guys like Jake Peavy, Ben Sheets and if he continues his dominating start, Tim Hudson.

Hernandez could win 20 & still Seattle might only manage 65-70 wins, thier offense is pretty weak, so he may have to keep his ERA under 3 to even have a chance, as Seattle will not score too much, Minnesota has some bats so they odds favor Johan. Sleeper is John Lackey of the Angels..those who put Mike Mussina on their list - i'm thinking you're way off, Moose can't even hit 85mph w/ his fastball anymore & is becoming a guile pitcher more and more every day, if he wins 15 it will be great. With pitchers only getting 34-35 starts per season, it requires a certain amount of luck along with timely hitting by your team and no injuries to yourself as a pitcher along the way.The only one I would say that has a good chance this early in the season is Johan Santana of the Twins.
He is one of the most consistent pitchers the last couple of years. Glavine is pitching well to start the season but he is getting up there in age. Let's see if he can continue to pitch well after the all start break.

Tommy Glavin is a wonderful pitcher and I do hope that he reaches 20 wins (Thought that's sooooo hard to say as I am a Braves fan lol)I think that John Smoltz and Tim Hudson can get to 20 this year too. That is if the Braves bats start to come alive when John is pitching.
Tim is starting to settle into his role on the team and is looking more to the form that everyone was used to seeing him when he was with his old team. (I want to say he pitched for the A's. . but I don't want to say that and be wrong)
