Don't you think baseball deserves to have Bonds break a sacred record due to turning a blind eye to steriods?
Question:For years there was no denying SOMETHING was going on, yet did nothing about guys breaking the law (not baseball rules, the law. It is illegal to use prescription ANYTHING without a prescription).
Personally this is one of several reasons I never have been and never will be a baseball fan.

Who hits more triples in Major League Baseball - left handed batters or right handed batters?
Absolutely. Selig and MLB did nothing until Congress called a hearing. Their actions are totally hypocritical. If I was to offer your favortite team Jeff Weaver of the Mariners, what would you give me in return?
Well they can use a prescription if their trainer, or physician, gives it to him. Its not entirley illegal, just banned in the MLB for performance enhacning drugs. Only when people began to break records did people get suspicous and for that I dont blame you for not likeing baseball. Too much mistrust. I completley support Bonds, becasue theirs alot of hate going on for him, just because hes a great hitter. In the videogame MLB 2K7 how can you visit the mound?
Actually, it aint about about what you and I think...that's what's sad...MLB "thinks" it's obviously OK, the record will fall, and what you and I "think" don't mean squat.
Who are these babeball players for Austin kearns, travis miller? are they for the reds?? in 2003?
There's nothing sacred about it. Babe Ruth set the mark in a time when blacks weren't allowed to play. Hank Aaron surpassed Ruth while taking amphetamines. Barry Bonds will become the new homerun king. Tainted homeruns count the same as any other homerun. How he gets there doesn't change anything. The record was already asterisk-worthy.What baseball parks would you say are the easiest and hardest to hit inside the park home runs in?
no - they might consider a new category of records - otherwise they need to ban him from baseballWho has sat in the 300 club level section at Jacobs Field on the first base line?
bonds should be honered for his acomplishment.even though he is such an asshole.but steroids were legal til the early 80's,so if you took his spot in the hall of fame away, youd have to take away every players spot who played before then.
furthermore, even the worst players on the teams use steroids,so they do not make you a better player.
Unlike you, I love baseball and will always be a fan. I figured players were roided up all along, it never bothered me. Yes, baseball deserves to have its most sacred record broken by a player who "most likely" used enhancements. That's what they get for waiting to the last minute to fix the steroids problems. Now it's too late, they can't rewrite the past couple decades of baseball history. People try to hop on the bandwagon now and hate Bonds because they suddenly care about steroids. They need only to ask themselves why they didn't hate McGwire, Sosa, & Canseco. They're hypocrites who want to blame Bonds for 2 decades of steroid use. I'll enjoy watching Bonds break the record this year because it will be a historical moment in sports. One that may never happen again in my lifetime.
Don't give me your cry baby bull s h it. You either like baseball or you do not and the fact these guys were on juice is no reason to hate the game. Ofcourse the whole situation is dissapointing when you have a great player like Hank Aaron and all the things he had to go and is record is being broken by this steroid abuser, but the real fans know and even when Barry gets the record he will always be a cheater. But how can you blame Barry, the blame should be on the rules, the commisioner, and the owners because no one was caring a few years ago when they were selling out games. This Bonds guy just wanted to be a better jock, he saw everyone else doing it and joined them, plus his record will only stand another 10 years when AROD breaks it. I say let Barry break it, then maybe he will just retire and go away for a bit.
Which one of these free agent center fielders would you like to see playing for your team next year?
it's illegal to smoke weed but does that make you "not a great ballplayer"? steroids are useful in rehabbing injury. It's too bad they were abused for "pumping up". Bonds and Sosa and many of the others saw there home runs go up but the overall quality of their game diminish. Home runs sell tickets keep the owners happy and crank up the payday. Ballplayers have been using steroids since the 60's. Minor leaguers and college footballers got magically huge fast. I had friends come home from spring training with an extra 25 or 30 pounds of muscle and that's a lot on an 18 or 19 year old baseball player? Did Barry's dad Bobby use roids too? Probably, the whole professional sports world is complicit and hell we ate it up all along. Business is business and now we're pissed as fan's because we had a lot of trumped up dreams and fantasy tied up in our sports.Yes, baseball deserves it and No baseball doesn't deserve much from anyone anymore.
