I'm looking for a team to root for in the AL. Anything to propose?

Question:Since the Expos are gone my heart is empty, please fill it.

Answers:

Who's your pick: tom glavine, greg maddux or randy johnson?

If I had to choose an AL team, it would be the Indians. They are in a great division, so you will get to see them play a lot of games against playoff contenders.

They've also got a young team, so if they keep the core around, you'll watch the same players for a few years on not lose interest. By the time the roster turns over, you'll be a real Indians fan.

By the way...Sorry for your loss.

Are there any select baseball teams in Puyallup, WA 12U for my son?

I'm assuming you live in Montreal...

You could take the Canada route and pull for the Blue Jays.
Or just watch ESPN...they do plenty of Yankee and Red Sox rooting for the rest of the world!

Trivia question?

The Cleveland Indians , they are in the best division in baseball

Should players be thrown out of the game..?

New York Yankees. They are a lot of fun to watch. They have a lot of talent. Alex Rodriguez is arguably the most talented player in all of baseball ever. Try to watch a game. The Yankees play the Red Sox on April 22 at 8:05 Eastern Time. I think it is on Fox.

Who are MLB's best sinkerball pitchers?

You could try following the Texas Rangers, (a team that like your Expos usually finishes 3rd or 4th in a tough division but occasionally has a great season and wins the division)... Or another scrappy underdog team that struggles in a tough division but one day might make a little noise by surprise, (perhaps the Tampa Bay Devil Rays). Plus you'd never have a problem getting seats to either of these two team's home games should you ever find yourself in their cities.

Good luck, (and as a Sox fan, thanks for Pedro)...

What Does WHIP stand for?

Don't go along with the crowd. Anyone can go for a team that gets tons of publicity. Pick an "underdog" team, learn their players and root for them. That way should they come through you can always say to your friends, "See, I told you so."
As a long-time Cardinals fan I never give up on them. And last year and all they did was make me $200 by winning the World Series. Go Cards!
Oops, you don't think that'll keep me out of the Hall of Fame... do you?

Slammin Sammy Sosa...will he even make a difference for TX?

Cubs they are fun to watch

GOOD LUCK TEXAS RANGERS-YOU'LL NEED iT![RANGERS vs. WHiTE SOX]]]?

A lot of it is going to depend on your personality...

Just about everybody roots for the Yankees or the Red Sox. So if you like to root for a popular team, pick one of them. They both have a ton of talented players and will probably finish 1st and 2nd in the AL East.

If you like underdogs... root for the Devil Rays. They're going to finish in last place. But, this is strange... they're a lot of fun to watch. Their pitching is terrible, but their offense is the most exciting in all of baseball. Hard to believe, but true. They're 2nd in the AL in runs scored, and they're always playing aggressively. I'm not a Rays fan, but I find myself watching them whenever they're at bat. (I don't watch when they're pitching though - that's just a littel different).

Should Fernando Rodney be cut?

If you liked the Expos, then why you dont like the Nationals? They are same team that moved to DC and renamed the team. Since you said the AL, you need to root for the Yankees. they are the most popular team in the world.

Who will win the season series between Red Sox and Yankees?

Try the Angels, they look pretty good this season

Do you think that Barry Bonds will break Hank Aaron's Home Run record this Season?

the angels can only win at home and will only get worse. Here is the perfect team for you. The upstartTampa Bay Devil Rays. They are loaded with young very talented hitters with good speed. Will be good this year and only better in the near years to come. With a little pitching and some experience they could win it all in the near future.

What baseball duo has the record for most back-to-back homers all time?

Go for the Devil Rays dude
underdog city and they are on the rise, plus you can throw it in the sox and yanks fans faces when they win that division one day
