I need help at hitting?
Question:i am 0 for this year in freshman baseball. i dont know why im doing so pporly. im usually a good hitter but i have 3 ground outs a pop out and a strikeout. i also have 3 walks. i need help at hitting but dont know what im doing wrong, im sseing the ball and im followimg through with my back leg. help me figure out somethings to do to become a better hitter (dont tell me battin cages)

Honestly, ground balls are better than pop ups, so what ever you do, don't start getting under the ball. Each year the pitchers will get better at changing speeds and adding movement to their pitches, so you have to become an even better hitter to compensate.Have you tried hitting off a tee? I tried to pattern myself after Tony Gwynn, because I wanted to be an all around good hitter. He suggests using a wiffle ball tee and prcticing until you can smack the hell out of the ball without knocking the tee.

man im having the exact same problem at the plate..sorry i wont be able to helpdrop the head of your bat to level with your shoulders.ala rod carew.it will take some getting use to but youll hit more line drives that way.your bat will speed up causing harder hit balls.they will get through the infield faster.
