I want to buy a softball mitt off of ebay and I am not sure the size to buy?

It would be hard to see depending on your hand I have a media sized hand and wear a 10.5 inch glove. I would go to a sporting store and try them on before buying one its much easier to figure it out, but a word of caution different gloves may be the same size but have much different fits.Derrick Fisher missed the first game of the Utah series, why?

My fingers are long, I use a 12 inch, so maybe a 10-11 inch is good for you.I would go to my local sporting superstore (Modells, Dicks Sporting Goods, etc.) and look at their selection.
Try on a few mitts and see which fit your hand comfortably. Even though you have small hands, you may opt to a larger glove depending upon how it fits. This will also give you a good idea about pricing.
Also be sure to try on gloves that suit your position, and remember that a softball is larger than a baseball. Just a rule of thumb...
Infielders (except first baseman) usually use a smaller mitt.
First Basemen & Catchers have a specific make.
Outfielders usually have a larger glove.
Pitchers use a smaller glove, but with a closed webbing to hide pitching grips.
P.S.- You might find yourself buying a glove at your local store rather than eBay, unless you find one you like.
