Who do ya'll think is the most underrated reliever in baseball today?

Question:I think that Hideki Okajima is probably one of the best relievers out there. He is probably really underrated because of all the great pitchers that the Red Sox have plus with Daisuke Matsuzaka getting all that media attention Hideki kinda went under the radar.

I agree with you, Okajima has been magnificant right now and he is really flying under the radar. I did even know we had the gy on the team until the firsttime he pitched, his first pitch wasnt really good, he gave up a HR and has been lights out ever since. He recorded a big save against the Yankees when Papelbon was not available and he has been throwing some incredible performances. I think he is getting no attention because the starters are getting a lot of attention with Schilling, Beckett, and Dice K of course plus the fact that Papelbon gets a lot of attention in relief and there are some other quality guys like Donnelly and Romero so Okajima gets overlooked but he is definelty the most underrated reliever out there not putting anyone down.

J. J. Putz. He's in Seattle with a Mariners team that's only a little over .500 at any given time this year. That doesn't help most people's spotlight get any bigger or brighter. I see him on TV a lot and he's very good.

Joe Nathan of Minnesota. When people talk closers - they talk about Hoffman and Rivera. Nathan is the best closer in the American League. But because he is not on a team ESPN cares about, he is not well known. His stuff is great. He is extremely underrated.
