Which of the AL Central Teams has the best shot at winning it all?

Question:We all know the AL Central is the MLB's biggest powerhouse, and there are 4 teams that are all legitimate World Series contenders. Which of these teams have the best chance to win it all this season?

Tigers- Combination of young and experinced players. Have alot of luck on their side for some reason. Managed by Jim Leyland, who gives you as good a chance as anyone to win it all.
Twins- Home of the AL MVP, the AL Batting Champ, and the CY Young Winner. Great in the regular season, but were a no show in last years playoffs. Johan Santana is a lights out automatic win.
White Sox- Massive offense that lives and dies with the Long Ball. Potentially great pitching staff that seems to be coming out now, but is still a big "if". In my opinion, best Playoff Equipped team in the AL, but getting there is what needs to happen. A bit rusty on defense though.
Indians- Mainly young team with a great pitching staff, but needs a little bullpen help. Great offense, a bit inconsistent last year.

Other then the Yankees which team has won the most world series?

Detroit Tigers.

In baseball what does WP mean...?

This is a great division, but I think the Tigers are still the team to beat. The other three you mentioned should battle it out for a wild card spot in my opinion, but I think the division goes to the Tigers. Great future for the Indians, but we've seen too many young teams blow whatever promise they've had. I'd have to choose the Twins to finish second. Easily the strongest division in the ML though.

How many of bonds homeruns were on the juice?

I believe in the Minnesota Twins they are a strong and a great all-around team and would be even better with Liariano they just are a great team that won division in the toughest division.

What is a quick way to break in a baseball?

I believe the division from top to bottom is the best in baseball. The Tigers did nothing but improve by adding Sheffield, the White Sox, they kept their stars, the Twins always find a way, early favorite would have to be the Tribe but they seem to fade late in the season. Even the Royals are a much improved team. But I would have to say that the Twins will win the division.

Twins 91-71
Indians 90-72
Tigers 89-73
White Sox 88-74
Royals-78-84

I think it will come down to the last week of the season for the top 4

Where did the term "Pickle" come from in Baseball?

The Tigers-didn't win the division last year and showed they aren't 'still the team to beat' by getting swept by the Royals to allow the Twins to pass them. But Leyland is one of the best managers in the game-and proved it by not doing to Verlander what Dusty Baker did to Mark Prior. Adding Shef helps their offense but could hurt chemistry-not because he's a jerk (I don't think he is, but many do) but because he's a strong personality. Kenny Rogers is no kid,so losing him until the break might actually make him stronger down the stretch-or he might not get it together in time to be a factor. I don't know when Todd Jones learned to keep people off base, but it's hard to be objective and feel good about their bullpen given his history since he's the anchor. They have a good shot but some questions.

Twins-after Santana the rotation doesn't look good. Ramon Ortiz was 'little Pedro' 5 or 6 years ago-since then he's mostly been very hot or very cold. Silva supposedly found his sinker over the winter, but since he lost it last year he could again. Bonser is young and has been like Ortiz since he was called up, but entirely very hot or cold rather than mostly (either lights out or lit up). I almost threw up when I saw Sidney Ponson in the box score a few days ago. I didn't know they'd signed him, and I'll never understand why anyone would. hope they're paying him in Krispy Kremes, and not very many. The best pen and best closer in the majors. IThey didn't improve their offense, but that also preserved the chemistry they had last year so they also have a good shot and just as many question as Detroit, but the Twins are about personnel rather than personalities.

White Sox-Potentially great pitching staff, also potentially awful. Contreras isn't the same without el Duque around, Buehrle gets a lot more wins than most guys in the middle of the rotation, but that career ERA close to 4 isn't a mistake, and Garland may have won 18 games last year but gave up 5 or more earned runs 10 times. Javy Vazquez could have the best year of them all, and has a better arm than everyone but Contreras. The bullpen isn't good. Everyone is mediocre except for Jenks who's above average but you have to wonder if he'll implode-since that's what his life was all about before he was called up 2 years ago. The offense last year was fueled by several vets having career years. I don't expect repeats from Pierzinski, Crede or Dye, but I do expect a repeat from Podsednik who was an allstar solely because his steals helped fantasy teams-the only other thing he brings is effort. I'd be surprised if they made the playoffs.

Indians-Great staff? That might be pushing it especially since the best of them can't stay healthy because he's a tub of goo, 2 in the rotation is Jake Westbrook who should be a 3 or 4, Cliff Lee has already hurt his throwing abs which isn't going to help him pitch, Paul Byrd has had an extemely inconsistent career and the fifth is a kid. Their bullpen isn't good-I expect it to be pretty bad with Roberto Hernandez setting up Borowski. I don't think inconsistent offense can be called great, and since Delucci has shown he's great off the bench but not good as a starter and Trot is so injury prone those moves won't make them more consistent--Josh Barfield was a great move that should help them there. Martinez is so bad behind the plate there's no reason most managers shouldn't try to steal second with 2 outs. Peralta and Marte both need to have much better years than last season for Hafner and Sizemore to get them into the playoffs.

I like Chicago the least of the bunch. I don't like the idea of vets with several years chances of repeating career years and I think their rotation isn't good. People seem to ignore the fact that the only significant injury they had 2 years ago was to Frank Thomas-only one injury to their rotation which brought el Duque--which made Contreras, and none to their lineup. I thought they won the series becuase they stayed healthy. I think Cleveland has more question, but I think they can get solid answers to enough of them to finish ahead of Chicago, but they have too many question to do better than third.

I think the Tigers will win the division, but I don't expect it. The Twins have done too many things right to keep Ponson for very long and should bring Garza up soon, and after they do either he (Garza not Ponson) or Bonser will give them someone solid behind Santana, with Ortiz and Silva enough to round out a solid rotation. Since they don't shouldn't have problems with chemistry and Detroit could, I wouldn't be surprised to see this year almost as close as last-almost but not quite. Either the Twins will get rid of Ponson early enough and Detroit will have locker room trouble to put Minnesota at the top in the last week or two to stay, or the Twins will keep Ponson too long OR Detroit will be the same love-fest they were last year-Leyland is amazing at doing that-and Minnesota won't be able to get past them.
