Would you give Bonds anything he could hit?

Question:If you were a MLB pitcher, and Barry Bonds stepped to the plate with 755 homers recorded, would you walk him with the bases-loaded? Is it better to possibly lose the game than be forever know as the pitcher who gave up 756 to Bonds?

Baseball training help?

Good question. I for one couldn't tell you who threw Henry Aaron's 755'th homerun... so I don't think they are worried about the noteriety. But it would probably depend on the game and how hot bonds is at the time. At his current rate, he will hit 756 and then die when he crosses home plate like an exhausted turtle after laying its eggs on the beach.

Looking for a fastpitch softball bat that isn't going to hurt my pockets!?

I'd plunk roid boy in his fat **** head and knock him on his ***.

Any female baseball fans, how does it make you feel?

If I was an MLB pitcher & believed in my own abilities, then yes I'd try to throw it past him. However, I AM a Giants fan, so I think all those pitchers should be pitching to Barry at each at bat.

Who do you think are the 2 best short stop's in MLB?

Nope.

Who would you choose-Red Sox or Yankees?

to me this is simple. You never say die, you pitch to him, have attitude, know as a pitcher that you are better than he is, and if he does happen that he hits number 756 than people would know you for that too, so either way take a chance, have guts, never give in and just walk him and say, Im scared of you.

Who is your favorite baseball player?

I agree with Dr.Strangelove.I would drill that f uck in his steroid head.

Who's Your Tiger?

As to the above post, bonds is half way to the record in early May, its likely he breaks the record before the all-star break, die? how? the guy is on fire at the moment. I dont get how no one is saying this stuff about Sosa hitting 600, or any of the other players who reportedly took steroids. What about Clemens? It has been said he is "well versed in steroids" in the same books that started the Barry talks. What about Ortiz saying he might have taken steroids? You people ruin the entire excitment of this record setting benchmark because most baseball fans are f'ing pesimists. Everyone loves the underdog and hates the Yankees, no records are allowed to be broken without some sort of controversey, and no one is allowed to enjoy any of the major happenings in sports because of this. A TON OF PLAYERS USED STEROIDS.BONDS WAS A HALL OF FAMER BEFORE THIS CRAP ALL STARTED.HE ONLY DID WHAT HALF THE LEAGUE WAS DOING...if pitchers pitch around him, their cowards and I hope they die because its only gonna drag this on longer.steroids were a part of the game then, deal with it.jesus.

For yankee fans! boo! hoo! isn't it time to pack it in? even with mussina coming back, boston is kicking ***!

If I was pitching to him I would either drill him or throw 4 pitches he'd have to skip rope on.Oddly enough is that my nephew gave up Barrys 500th HR,he was pitching for the Padres at the time, his name was Dennis Tankersley.

Is the MLB.TV thing on MLB.com worth buying?

Professional players are paid for what they do. Quite often the pitchers are told what to pitch. If I were confident in my abilities, I would challenge, if that is what the coach says to do. If he says walk, 4 balls it is. After all, The coach decides whether I am benched or not

Who was the first black baseball player in the major leagues? (hint not Jackie Robinson)?

normally you get your direction from your coach so its up to the coach.

Any ideas how to stop this from happening?

Only a pinata
I would walk him with trhe bases loaded bc that way only one run would score rather than the 2-4 runs that would score if he hits it.

Does anyone think that if Barry Bonds breaks the home run record he should be recognized as the record holder?

I'd pitch to him.You don't play the game to pitch around a batter.Thats cowardly.Always pitch to the batter unless you have to do someting stratigic, like walking him to force the double play.Otherwise do your best too get him out.

Baseball Wrist Pain?

I would pitch to him prior to that magic number. I would not want to be remembered as the guy who gave up the record breaking home run that's for sure.

Who else thinks the Red Sox get rid of too many good players.?

!st Pitch would be a knockdown pitch, a fastball towards his chin. 2nd Pitch would be a hard slider that breaks towards his kneecaps. 3rd Pitch would be a fastball, outside. 4th pitch, I would drill him in the ribs, hopefully breaking a couple of them and ending his season.
