Mark PRior has Shoulder Problems again.. Should the cubs just cut their losses with Wood and Prior and .?

Question:Release them both, and move on?

Which major-league player was a member of both the Montreal Expos and the Toronto Blue Jays in their?

The problem here Kim is that the Cubs have invested a lot of time and money into these guys and I would think they were hoping over time(I know it seems like 10 yrs) these guys would finally get healthy enough to be able to pitch effectively again...Remember Prior was a stud when he was healthy and Wood was solid... so I think they have a little more patience with these guys compared to some others...Although I think time is running out on both of those guys if they don't make it back soon.

Best mlb ballpark?

It's so funny. The moment they drop them they will be great.

Adam LaRoche ?

Mark Prior has shoulder problems? No way! Did you know water is wet? LOL

Seriously, both Prior and Wood are damage goods. These two had all the makings of a potential Hall of fame career, but thanks to the misuse of both by Dusty Baker, they can't stay healthy.

This is the crux of the Cubs problems and why they may not do much this season in spite of a free spending offseason. They didn't effectively address pitching. Besides Carlos Zambrano, who in that rotation can you depend on to win you games and stay healthy? The money they spent to get Alfonso Soriano would have been better served paying to keep Zambrano.

I say at this point, they need to keep Wood in the bully and trade Prior for whatever they can get.

Im in little league and just want to make it so the other kids are scared when i come up to bat.?

These guys are both injury prone and they haven't helped the team in years, but how can you let them go? First, they have contracts, and they are still getting paid even though they are injured or rehabbing in the minors. Second, it would be nearly impossible to trade them due to their injuries. What team is going to want to pick up a has-been pitcher with a big money contract who can't pitch more than a few games a year?

The Cubs need to bite the bullet with these guys and give them really long rehab assignments in the minors. When they have truly worked out their physical issues, the Cubs need to try them out in short relief until they are ready to start. As soon as one of them starts to show promise as a starter, dump them onto the market as quickly as possible. They both had potential, but now, nothing short of a bionic arm will keep them in the majors.

Where can I find baseball instructional videos to download? Thank you in advance.?

I would try to get something for them, but you're likely not going to get much. But it is like they are cursed, and a change of venue might work for them. It is unfortunate what has happened, because both, especially Prior, had greatness written on them. But those are the breaks of pitching. Pitchers are a crap shoot. You never know how the arm will hold up. My arm fell apart by 19. I knew a guy drafted out of high school in the Braves organization. In two years, his arm was shot, and he was gifted. Nonetheless, it might be best to part ways and make a clean slate for everyone.

How about those mets??

I think they should

They should trade them to the Giants. Then SF can add them to Zito and have an awesome rotation of bums.

Will the Indians play doubleheaders to make up snowed out games?

They should cut Prior and Wood.
The cubs do have a great young talent in Jeff Smardzija, so no matter what, in the future they will get another opportunity with a young, amazing arm. Plus the Cubs have options now and can go kinda deep.

Interleague play...hurt or help baseball?

Prior is just a wimp. Every time he is evaluated, there is nothing wrong besides normal soreness from pitching. They should not only cut him but sue him for the money he has made so far this year. Wood is a little different. He is injury prone, but could turn in to a lights out closer. When Wood is healthy, he is great. He can not throw 100 pitches anymore, but watch out later in the season when Ryan Dempster starts blowing saves like he did last season.

What size is a Rawlings Baseball Glove model # RBG60T?

I think they should. Its not like they are really on the team anyway. They are always on the DL or working in the minors. Mark Prior was supposed to be great, Kerry Wood was supposed to be great, but the Cubs over worked them and now there arms are done.

My fav baseball team is the angels what's urs?
