No, I guarantee that it will be at home. As a Reds fan, I remember Rose sitting out until a home stand, and after hitting 714 at Riverfront in Cincinnati on opening day, Aaron didn't play until he got back to Atlanta. If he did get it anywhere else, I think an ugly scene would definitely develop unless it was the first couple of innings at Doger Stadium. No one would be in the stands.No it wont happen because if Barry is close the dodgers wont pitch to him because they will not allow him to break such a sacred record. He's a cheater and doesnt deserve the record.
As of matter of fact it will not happen anywhere but SF because it too much of a money maker and because Barry wants Willie Mayes to be there.

When Bonds get close, he'll almost be FORCED to play only at home. The spectacle of a stadium full of boos when he ties & beats the record will truly be horrific.Until Bonds, I never would have imagined that the falling of one of the greatest records in all of sports would be greeted by boos. WoW! I could not see that happening and i would not want a record like that broken at my teams stadium. The dodgers will give him a free pass if he's close to the record. I hope he breaks the record in any stadium. There are going to be "REAL" baseball fans who will not care about "allegations" of steroids and will applaud the feat. People do not have to jump up and down just because a record is being broken. They can sit and do something else while ceremonies or announcements are made.
