I'm not sure if your looking for a strike zone target or like a catchers mitt target. I made a catchers mitt target. I bought a pitch back system, those giant net things that will bounce the ball back when you throw it. Then cut a glove size hole right where the catchers glove would go. an old tire hung from a fence or tree, or a trashcan set up on a chair. to protect your fence, or whatever your backstop is, use an old rug or piece of carpeting to soften the ball's impact. better yet, use tennis balls.Who will go all the way in the MLB this year and what teams?
Go to any sporting goods store and buy a "pitch back".Its a mesh net stretched tight in a metal frame with the strike zone marked off and it "pitches" the ball back to you so you get grounders or popups or straight catches. About 20 bucks at most places and worth 20 times that, trust me.More Questions & Answers...
