size, agility, strength of arm, and speed as well as intelligence on field!My opinion,
1. Natural, all-around ability that can be molded into a major-leaguer.
2. Pitching; preferably left-handed, big, and tall. You'll want a good fastball with movement and at least one off-speed pitch.
3. Hitting for contact and power. It's best to use all fields and be able to work the count.
4. Good fielding; speed and quickness to the ball, solid glovework, and a strong and accurate arm.
5. Baserunning ability to read the battery, get good leads, and stealing or taking the extra base.
6. Statistics that are head and shoulders above other players in your league.
7. Ability to compete under pressure (such as when a scout shows up!)
8. Good field presence and the ability to lead a team.
9. Bodies that could be on fitness magazines.
10. Have a good day when the scouts show up.
