Will the Indians play doubleheaders to make up snowed out games?
Question:I thought I heard they would on their mutual off days. They only have two off days and they have 4 games to make up so I thought they would just play on the off days. As a Tribe fan, it would be awful if the division came down to 4 games and we had not played those games, which could affect their chances of reaching the postseason.

With the two off days I am not sure how the Indians and Mariners are going to pull this off - remember there are a lot of rules with the players union that have to be brought into consideration here, as well as the logistics of pulling this all off.It may have to be down to a game at the end of the season that is played IF the Indians or Mariners are in playoff contention at that point. (IE not make up all of the postponed games except if a playoff spot can be decided because of the playing of those games.)
Yes, they usually play doubleheaders to make up cancelled games. If they can't, then they won't make up the games unless they will have bearing on who makes the playoffs in October.
If you could add someone into the Hall of Fame, who would it be?
Days off are supposed to be for rest/travel/etc. In the end, this will probably tire out both teams and could impact post-season play. Its not as active as football or basketball, but their pitching is going to get worn out fast. For the Mariners worse than the Indians, they just had another game PPD in Boston, to be made up May 3rd.
Go Indians!
