Answers:
Is there a jersey number that only one player has ever worn but it is not a retired number?
Seems to me there would be someone you could ask to help you take him.A good man would respect and understand this wish and pay for everything and take you guys.
The long car ride? Not sure how to resolve this, since the reason for the problem is not known.
Take a few days to make the trip. You might want to see if you can borrow or rent an RV, so you don't have to worry about hotels.
Every stadium has wheelchair accessible seating. You can find it on their website. But you can also simply contact the Braves and order tickets for the appropriate section.
It just takes a little imagination to do this without outside funding.
