Question:The Pirates@Cubs are playing and they are in the 15th Inning. Is there a limit of How many innings can you play?

Answers:

Has anyone ever struck out 5 in a inning?

There is no limit on innings played. Either the game reaches a decision, or curfew/suspension rules are invoked to stop play and continue it later. (There are tie games, for which player stats count but it doesn't factor into the standings, and a replay game will be scheduled if possible, but they are quite rare these days, and usually involve inclement weather.)

How can the Yankees get dontrelle?

There's no limit in baseball. The two teams must play for as long as it takes for one or the other to win. Now, the game might be suspended for curfew reasons, but it must be picked back up at a later date in order to determine a winner.

Anybody watching the yankee game!!?

The game can go for as long as needed. I believe that there has been a tie in recent baseball history but the reason was that it was a game towards the end of the season and there wasnt enough time to make it up im not sure if that game was a rain out or if it went to extra innings or not though.

What your favorite player on the twins?

You don't play against the clock. You play until one team takes the lead (top of the inning) and keeps it through the home team's 3 outs, or until the home teams wins it in the bottom of an inning.

At some point, the umpire in chief of the game may decide to suspend the game, but that only means that it will be picked up at that point the next day, and continued until it's finished, before the next day's game begins.
