Who do you think is the most underrated team and player in the MLB?
Question:There is so many teams doing well this year, which were doing terrible last year. Same with many players today.

Underrated Players-
Catcher- Paul LoDuca (Ideal number 2 guy. Gives Reyes pitches to steal on, then with Reyes on second he'll hit a ground ball to the right side. Then Carlos Beltran can sac fly Reyes home)
First Base- Dan Johnson (Hitting .354 but isn't much noticed because the A's have Nick Swisher and Eric Chavez)
Second Base- Placido Polanco (High average hitter, gets On-Base for sluggers Sheffield and Pudge-Rod)/Damion Easley (After sitting almost all of April on the bench, Easley stepped up and assumed Jose VAlentin's second base job because he got hurt. Easley now has 7 HR's to tie him with David Wright for second on the Mets in long flies)
Third Base- Troy Glaus (He's the boss. With 8 homeruns already, he has powered the Jays O. That's in only 88 AB's. Multiply AB's by two and you have A-Rod like numbers. Why double AB's? Because Hot-Rod -not Rod Kanehl, Met historians- has 166 AB's.)
Shortstop-J.J. Hardy (Has 14 HR's. He's a shortstop. He's on Milwalkee. Milwalkee's in first place. Offense has to come from somewhere, eh?)
Outfielder-Endy Chavez/Shane Victorino (Both have excellent speed. They are skilled outfielders. They seem to spark a rally. They're fourth outfielders, but more important than 3 bullpen pitchers. Bullpen pitchers? Maybe the Mets should trade Endy for someone to replace Aaron "I like to blow the game" Heilman.)
Pitcher- Too many, too hard. I refuse.

Yankees and A-RodI'd say the most underrated team is the Brewers. The Red Sox and Mets get off to a hot start and people talk World Series. The Brew Crew gets off to a hot start and people talk fluke, failing to consider the NL Central was the weakest division last year.
Most underated player might be Adrian Gonzalez. He reminds me of a younger healthier Mike Sweeney.

underratted team has to be the San Diego Padres. Winning two division champions in a row, best pitching staff and bullpen in the majors, but still no respect from the main stream media.Jake Peavy should get more props as well. The country is fastly realizing he is the best pitcher in the game.
The Padres will only have one all star player this year, and that just is not fair to the players and fans of San Diego baseball.

The most underrated team is the clevland indians. They always are competing for a playoff spot in their division. The most underrated player is Carl Crawford. He doesn't get noticed playing for Tampa Bay.The tied for 1st place Cleveland Indians. Most thought the central would be a race between the Tigers, White Sox, and Twins.
Most underrated player as of late would be Cole Hamles of the Phillies. He's 6-1 with 70k's and is responsible for a third of the Phillies wins. Where would they be without this guy?

Most underated team ill have to say is the Angels their leading their division they have a great starting rotation with lackey,weaver,colon and escobar probally the 2nd or 3rd best in the majors. I feel that the LA Angels are pretty underrated. Everyone wants to talk about Boston, NYY, NYM, Atlanta, Cleveland, Detroit, etc.But no one is really talking about the Angels. Yet they have a 5 game lead in a competitive AL West.I think that Bobby Abreau has been underrated for a while. Even though he is in a slump now, he is a consistantly good hitter with power and speed. At least he did when he was a Phillie.

The Brewers. Hands down. Great rotation, solid bullpen and that infield is sick. Bill Hall might be the most underrated player if he gets is average back up.
