Question:The whole steroids thing, his crappy attitude towards fans, media, and even his own teammates, I really hate the guy. It's sad that he is going to break Hank Aaron's record. Personally, I hope he gets struck by lightening or gets hit by a bus before he can break it. What a jerk he is.

I am curious how you would respond if you were in the middle of the media circus he is. I am not a big proponent of Bonds but i do not like guilty bc the media says so...i also dont see why players owe it to be pleasant towards fans who jump on and off bandwagons more often than the neighborhood ho.And honestly who cares...his career HR record will be around a few seasons longer than McGuires single season was..Arod is gonna beat his career record before he is done barring any major injury.

Face it: Nowadays the whole industry is set up as a business. With so many on performance enhancers and the league essentially doing NOTHING to control it, of course more and more are going to use just to level the field.
The league needs to get it's sorry butt out of the indicisive chair it likes so much and do something. Other then act SURPRISED when they learn of a user in the league.

As a side note, I think the fact that Imus got the boot was pathetic. he admited his mistake. He went on television with Sharpton to be ripped open, then he goes to the Rutgers team (who accepted his apology). AND STILL HE GETS FIRED? Here's the problem with what you said...He took steroids (although he's never tested positive as the guy upstairs said), BUT IT WAS LEGAL IN BASEBALL.
Think about it... what makes him different from the other stars of the game that did the juice? What about the countless others that you've never heard of in the majors and minors? What about the guy who got steroids shipped to his house?

Steroids were not illegal when he was taking them and you guys forget the players that took them such as Palmeiro.
