Baseball: Is Craig Biggio a Hall of Famer?
He's approaching 3000 hits, has over 600 doubles, scored over 1700 runs, stolen over 400 bases and has been an All-Star at 3 positions. Should he be voted in? Why or why not?

Why do some fields have gravel going to the mound?
There is no doubt. If 3000 hits is automatic, imagine how impressive the feat is for a second baseman. He started his career as a catcher, and then locked up the 2B slot for the Astros for the better part of two decades, and many of those years, especially the early 90's, he was one of the best 2B in baseball.
His consistancy is remarkable, he was very fast at his prime, and a defensive asset his entire career. He has everything a Hall of Famer should need. He's a doubles hitter, and has a very respectable amount of HR, and still managed to drive in 1000 runs from the leadoff and #2 slot.
He may not have been winning batting titles, or on many leaderboards, but he gave the Astros a lot of wins over the last two decades. It's just a matter of time.
Will the devil rays ever be good?
Heck yeah! Why? Because He's approaching 3000 hits, has over 600 doubles, scored over 1700 runs, stolen over 400 bases and has been an All-Star at 3 positions, DUH!!!Batted ball hits runner, runner is out, does batter receive a hit in official scorebook?
In my book, absolutely. The numbers are there, if not overwhelmingly so. He definitely needs the 3K hits, though, to lock it up.Good seating at the braves game?
absolutely..3000 hits is an AUTOMATIC admission.no questionHow can i increase the velocity of my 4 seam fastball?
Yes definitly. How many U.S. states don't have high school baseball?

If Bonds breaks the record away from San Francisco?
Yes he should. What stupid things do baseball announcers say??
When I get ask that Q I ask these two in returnWas he a dominant player for at least 10 years?
Was he one of the truly "great" players of all time?
I think Biggio is going to be one of the toughest calls ever.
He does qualify as having one of the oddest stats that I have ever ran across. During the 1997 season he had 744 total plate appearances and hit into zero double plays.
Even though he doesn't have a championship ring, he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. He was one the best second basemen in the Nineties and has been shown to be valuable at other positions as well. I think if they had not brought in Jeff Kent, he could have made a run at 6-7 gold gloves at second base. He along with Jeff Bagwell were the franchise players for that club for so long and when he retires it will be hard for the Astros to replace two great players.
yes, no question. he'll be a first ballot or maybe a second ballot guy. either way he is a shoe in. his teammate jeff bagwell will be the guy that's very borderline. i'd like to see baggs and biggs go in together, but i don't think baggs will get it.
Once he gets 3,000 hits he will be in! I haven't seen a player yet who had 3,000 hits and didn't make the hall of fame.
