Question:Im a mets fan in Atlanta! I know, I know. My job made me come here. Anyway, Im really pulling for the Mets.
Do you think they will win it all and if so why??

They have easily the best and most dangerous lineup in National League. They have the best overall player in all of baseball, Jose Reyes. He has a LOT of speed, contact, fielding, and is getting power as well.I know that the starting pitching has question marks as we saw in the past 2 weeks with John Maine and Oliver Perez performing dominantly in their first starts then in their second starts not performing well(especially Perez).
But they have a lot of young pitching talent that could develop an ace. Pedro is coming back in July, the surgery he got will send him back in time by a few years(thus he will be better). And I believe that Omar Minaya can and will make a good trade at the deadline to strengthen the rotation. Our bullpen is pretty good, and we have one of the best closers in baseball in the true Sandman, Billy Wagner.
I think they will win it all this year. I would predict the Mets winning in 5 games against the Minessota Twins.

Don't think that I'm just saying this because I'm a Mets hating Yankees fan,.but I am!All kidding aside, I think the Mets still have some question marks in their starting rotation. I know, I know, so do the Yankees, but I think that as the season goes on, the Yankees rotation will settle into a groove and they'll win the AL East easily.
Back to the Mets..they do have a potent lineup, and I do think they are the best team in the National League. But, they aren't even the best team in the City. The Yankees will beat the Mets in a Subway Series in 6 games. And I'll be on the 7 train in full Yankees gear to go to one of the games at Shea!
By the way Mets fan, I do have to admit, you're new ballpark looks like it's gonna be great. What do you think of the new Yankee Stadium?

As a Cardinals fan, I of course, think they will win it all. After all, if they could win it last year, they certainly should be able to win it this year.As for the Mets, there is no doubt that they are one of the best teams in the league. However, I don't think they will be nearly as dominant this season as they were last season, because several teams have improved themselves over the winter. I think the Cardinals, Braves, and Dodgers (and maybe even the D-backs if they don't cool off) will all give the Mets a real run for their money.
