In baseball, if a manager uses every bench player...?
Question:in baseball, if a manager uses every bench player and pitcher available in one game (say a really long extra innings affair), and then there is an injury, does the team play short? or are they able to "bring back" a previously-used player to substitute for the injury?
Answers:
Has there ever been in the history of MLB a six pitch inning?
Depends on the rules covering the game.Pro -- game is forfeited b/c a team must finish a game with 9 players (Offcial Rule 4.17)
High School -- Team may play with 8 but each time the missing players spot in the batting order comes up it is an out. Also, the team may return to 9 within the game. (Rule 4-4-1f)
Little League -- This is legal just to keep the game going.
Clemens better then Ryan I think NOT!?
i always thought they had to forefeit if they didnt have enough players at any point in the game but i could be wrongIs there a website that lists the weather condition for each mlb ballpark?
The team that runs out of players HAS to forfeit, in the case of using all the bench players and one of the fielders gets hurt, they can bring in a pitcher to play that position, same thing the other way aroundok well you are all wrong
The question asks if EVERY player is used
well if another guy gets hurt you play with out him
The Rules just say that you must start a game w/ 9 players
NO WHERE does it say that you have to FINISH w/ 9 players
