How can a pitcher who throws 3/4 arm angle throw a nasty curveball?

Question:I throw 3/4 power pitcher with a slider, cutter, and changeup to accompany my 4 and 2 seam fastballs. Id like to add a curve to change their eye levels. But the thing is when i throw it it tends to come out like my slider. I dont finish across i finish down by my knee. How can i get a sharper 2-8 break?

Does your team have a marketing slogan every year? What is it?

Put a nasty spin on it.

An 80 MPH Curveball can spin up to 75 times a second... that's what that one commercial said atleast.

Is there an Indian minor league team in the Mahoning Valley League?

I am the exact same way as you, and I recently finally learned how to do it. The trick is that you really have to get on top of the ball and push down to the ground letting the ball spin out of your hand. I hope this helps your pitching, I know it has helped mine

How many times has Ken Griffey Jr been on the DL?

i throw 3/4 arms slot and my curve is WICKED
just get ur arm up and throw it like a football
thats the way i was taught and it works and it WONT hurt ur arm
if u can throw a football u can throw a curve
and do NOT "snap" ur wrist
u must get ur arm up tho
that is the key thing
