I hope notYankee Haters? Please let me know...?
Nope. One starter can't fix a pitching staff. might keep em in it for a while but that will be about it. they need another starter. Don't be surprised if Cano or Bobby gets traded for some help. How did the teams get picked for National and American League in baseball?
How can he not help? He is not any worse then thier 3,4 or 5 starter. Yeah he is old, but he didnt look old last season. He can still give them 6 or 7 quality innings per game to help save the bullpen..which has been overworked.Who are some of the top high school baseball prospects eligable for the 2007 draft?
He's being paid a million a week. He damn well should be able to walk on water if the Yankees want him to.Philadelphia Phillies Manager?
I dont see how, he only plays once every five games. He doesnt hurt them but their whole pitching rotation is falling. He might stop the bleeding but the cut still remains.Who Is The Best Baseball Play That Is Still Playing Today?
Will he help the Yankees? Yes, however, only because they are a terrible team when it comes to their pitching staff. The real question is, Is Rocket the answer for the Yanks woes. The answer to that is no. Look at his post season performances in the past. He has time and time again failed to show up for the big game. He will win you 10-15 games this year, and probably help make a playoff push but not a world series push.Giants fans, how about MR.CAIN! Two hits after seven innings, why did they take him out?
He will help the Yankees with the experience that he has. He knows how to pitch as good as anyone is in history. Is he the savior of the Yankees, no. It will take more than one player to save the Yankees, it will take the whole team playing together and playing good baseball for the Yankess to be successful.Boston Red Fans!! What is the longest hitting streak for the Red Sox??
No...he isn't Jesus. Is it true that some guy from Turkey (?) can throw a 160mph fastball?
Maybe! He has to stay healthy though!Im a pitcher in high school im 6-1, 1.78 ERA the only problem is..?
For the money he is being paid, he better!! All kidding aside, yes, he will help. His ERA has been outstanding the past 2 seasons with no run support. He will get considerable run support in New York.Whats your views on Barry Bonds?
Not to any great extent, but their pitching is so pathetic that almost anyone who can throw a ball and reach home plate is bound to help them.Chow!!
Who do you think the most overrated baseball player is?
yea I believe he will .. might not be as sharp as he was in his younger days ... he still isn't to old the people that say he is don't know much on baseball just like to run there mouth's yea his record last year was 7-6 but that was with the astros no offense he had a league leading 2.40 ERA :-). I say something close to that coupled with the offensive production of the Yankees line up will definitely improve his record I say he wins 12 games at least. He will obviously help, but he won't be the "savior" of the team as many are making him out to be. If the Yankees do win, it will be because of the fact that their existing starting pitchers get healthy -- as well as the talent already on the team, with or without Clemens.
Do you think the mets will retire any more numbers any time soon?
They seem to be doing just fine as of late without him.Adam Mills is having a great season this year is he a potential first rounder?
Not realy, I think the yankees just wanted a BIG NAMEHe CAN help them, but not as much as everyone thinks he can, unless the team gets healthy. He is only going to pitch once every fifth game. They need four other RELIABLE guys to pitch when he is not.
