Is Barry Bonds a cheater?

Question:Although he's never been "caught in the act" he is still a person whom many of us don't trust any more than a Clinton. I'm curious how many people really feel that he is a dirty cheater vs. how many people think he's completely innocent of the charges he's facing from the public.

Answers:

Anyone know a website that shows how to grip and pitch a baseball?

Of course he is a cheater. I am however offended that you would put a Clinton in there. I'd trust Clinton, just not with my wife or with my cigars.

I wrote an article just recently on Barry Bonds. its pretty long and u might not want to read it. but heres my opinion...

Steroids are performance-enhancing drugs that have been banned from baseball. While rumors of drug use by players have persisted for years, the controversy over steroids has grown considerably due to the drastic rise in home runs since 1995. If evidence shows a player has used steroids in the past, they should be held accountable and their records should not be written in the record books.
San Francisco Giants cleanup hitter Barry Bonds has been the main target of issue for steroids since the 2000 season. A bulked-up Bonds began hitting more home runs with increased power. In 2001, Bonds hit the record books and broke Mark McGwire’s previous record by hitting 73 homeruns. It is pretty hard to believe Bonds could have built himself into a hulking, record-setting home run hitter at the age of 37 without some outside help. For instance, Bonds averaged one home run every 16.1 at bats through 1998. The authors of the Game of Shadows identify the start of his doping regimen since then, and Bonds has hit home runs twice as frequently.
Even though Bonds has never tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs, baseball didn’t test for steroids until 2003. Also, a cloud still hovers over Bonds due to the BALCO Scandal. THG is a designer steroid that couldn’t be detected by tests, and BALCO sports nutrition center has distributed the steroid in a form of clear cream. Bonds is listed among 26 other athletes of having used them. The book Game of Shadows, published on March 23, 2006, chronicles alleged use of performance-enhancing drugs, including several different types of steroids and growth hormones, by Barry Bonds. Fainaru-Wada and Williams, the authors of the book, conducted a two-year investigation on BALCO and the cream that contained THG. They also looked over BALCO’s founder Victor Conte, and Greg Anderson who served as a personal trainer to Bonds and allegedly supplied him with the cream. Through interviews and grand jury testimonies, the authors convincely explained to the readers the history of steroids taken by professional athletes, and the book is among the most damaging accounts of reported steroid use by Bonds.
According to a survey, a large number of players and fans are concerned about the effects of steroid use on the sport’s record book. Through a survey taken by baseball players, over 35% said if a player if found to be using steroids, his records should be stripped from them. This is reasonable because pitchers suspect they’re given up home runs to players who cheat or batters who suspect they’re being outhit by cheaters. Fans are in disagreement too. It’s not good that there are questions around today’s players and whether their numbers are enhanced. Records broke by players suspected of steroids is also unfair to the old-time players who played the game in a generation without the use of illegal substances.
One of the greatest legends, Mark McGwire is tainted for allegedly using androstenedione during his record-breaking 1998 season when he crushed 70 baseballs out of the ballpark for the St. Louis Cardinals. Currently, McGwire is still not in the Hall of Fame, even though he is eligible to be inducted for already three years. Based just on statistics, Bonds is an automatic first-ballot inductee. He is the only member of the 500 homer-500 stolen base club, but many will have a hard time penciling him in. Many voters can say that he knowingly took steroids and committed perjury by lying to the grand jury. Even though there is no proof that Bonds fully knew the cream contained steroids, his muscle weight changed so drastically that he should have been suspicious of the possible outcome that a banned substance had been injected into his body.
Whether or not Bonds makes the Hall of Fame, his records should not count because of all the controversy over him using steroids. Bonds has a chance this upcoming season to break the all-time career record for home runs. Currently at 734 homers, he is only twenty-two away from breaking the record, held by Hank Aaron since 1974. Even if Bonds breaks it this year or next year, America’s favorite pastime has reached into the “Steroids Era.”

I saw a clip of a baseball fight from a few years ago and have a question?

Here's my opinion: Barry Bonds is hated by both the media and the fans. He probably did use some steroid type of supplement in the past and most likely it did affect his performance on the field. The thing is though is that people still pay to see him play. I live in L.A and at the Dodger/Giants game last night Barry Bonds was booed to an extreme extent. However he isn't one of those players that just lets people boo him and ignores them: He actually does look at you and listen to you while your talking. He waved to a few people who were wearing his jersey. He isn't a bad guy but unless it is proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that he didn't use steroids, it's pretty hard to root for him to break the record.

How come on all of the Ichiro Suzuki baseball cards, it never says his last name?

he has cheated MLB his whole life. Friggin druggie even if he breaks records nobody cares cuz hes a cheater and a bum

Baseball clubs?

I'm sure almost everyone knows about Barry Bonds and how close he is to breaking the all time home run record. And I'm sure most of you know about how he is convicted of being on steroids.
Tell me he's not on steroids. You can't get that much bigger within 2 years by working out.He went from a little stick to a giant pill swallowing muscle man.If you still don't believe me lets look to see how many home runs he has hit since he has supposedly started using steroids compared to how many he hit before then

1986-1997(12 years)
Ages 22-33(his prime years)

Average at bats ir took for him to hit a home run-16.7

Home runs-374

1998-present(9 years)
Ages 34-41

How many at bats on average it took for him to hit a home runs-8.6

Home Runs-360

Steroids can also make you run slower so lets look at the average stolen bases between each time period.

Average 1986-1997:37 stolen bases per year

Average 1998-now:6.7 per year

Have I made my point?

How do i get to the Carolina Mudcats stadium in Zebulon, NC?

OF COURSE

Is there a website to tell you how to throw curveballs ,changeup, slider, etc?

Do i think bonds is guilty? off course i do, but hes still the best hitter of our time, simple as that. People should give respect where its due. Did anyone care when Marc McGwire was on roids and broke the single season home record, no because he was white. Leave Barry alone, you act like he was the only one who used to take steroids.Dont let anyone fool you, baseball players were taking ampethimines 100 years ago, its not steriods, but not far off. Bud Selig never cared, if you remember 1994, baseball was almost finished. Nobody watched it till Big Mac, and Sosa chased the record. So you can say, while its destroying baseball, steroids also saved baseball. Why do you think it took them this long to actually test for steriods?? Simple answer, all about the money! The goverment had to step in, because obviously baseball owners didnt care. Boring baseball games make less money, less viewers. Off course the MLB still wanted players on steroids.

Is there any plays in baseball where an out is recored, but no one gets credit for a putout?

Theres been like 5000 people that have asked this question and yes he is, but theres another side and im not stickin up for him or anything, but u can juice up ALL u want but u still have to hit the ball and the steroids dont help u do that

I have baseball tryouts for my high school team coming up...?

We cant prove it and havent yet so he's guilty till proven inocent.

Why can one man throw a baseball faster than another ?

YES! A VERY BIG CHEATER!!!!! He should be suspended from baseball FOREVER!!!!!!!

Whos gunna be a factor in the homerun catagory this season?

Yes absolutely and the only people who dont think so are either giants fans or just plain stupid. I think its funny when people try to defend. They sound so dumb.

How do i become an mlb bat boy?

yes he should be ban for life and not get into the hall of fame.

Has a pitcher ever had 2 outs in the 9th and allowed a hit to break up the no hitter?

No way! He simply took an illegal performing enhancing drug to help him become stronger than the average ball player. Come on? How is that gonna help you hit a ball any further than usual. He just took the juice for the chicks...and to hit a baseball further.

Are you famous.?

hes been proven to use the roids so he is a cheater the league should kick him out of the MLB right before he passes Hank Aaron
