Who cares, baseball fans whether they like Bonds or not will draw there own opinion of him, look at McGwire everyone, including myself, thought it was great that him and Sosa were fighting neck and neck to break the single season record and that they were playing for two teams that had intense rivalries towards one another, and that these two supposed great players were able play this rivalry out in front of one another. But now McGwire is hiding in the same spider hole that they caught Hussein in, trying to avoid any glare of the spotlight after his awful Congressional testimony and Sosa has been shamed, at least he is trying to play and reinvent his image. As much as I detest this Man, no. The problem with asterisks is IT NEVER ENDS. Maris played more games than Ruth, Ruth didn't face black players, Aaron had the benefit of a watered down league the year it expanded --- you can always find something.
