Cubs fans on 99th year losing streak (please read, nothing mean in here)?
Question:I am a cardinal fan but I understand your passion to your team, If that was my team, I would probably be right there every year.
But, has anyone thought, maybe this has gone on long enough? They have enough fans that they could get enough money to get really good players, but the Cubs never win.
All Cubs players: Your opinions on the cubs losing streak please. Any thoughts you would like to add, please do so. Also please be kind in your comments. (That goes for all fans)

What do you think about getting rid of the minor league system in baseball?
Where I am from (45 miles east of St. Louis...the heart of Cardinal country), Cardinal fans are nothing like you. They have no real knowledge of the game, and their response to everything baseball is Cubs suck and Cardinals rule. It wouldn't have been so painful to see them win it all last year, if I didnt' have to go to school the next two months to hear about it. It's alright though, there's ignorant Cub fans too. Congrats though to your Red Birds and best of luck to ya.Thanks for the sympathy. We've had a couple of good teams, and have always been one of the front runners in money spent, but we're never there at the end holding the big trophy. I can't explain why. I can blame a goat, a cat, and a dork in headphones and glasses (Bartman), but realistically we've just never capitalized. Maybe someday soon it will be our day.

In order to win, you have to have a team effort and the team must really like each other.

Im 15 and i have been a life time cubs fan i really think they are going to be this year we just have to give all the new players time to get used to each other. We need the pitching to be solid this year the two key pithcher will be ted lilly and rich hill. Carlos will come out off his little april slump like he did last year. one problem they have had lately is that they have had no leadership. part of that is because dusty baker was a very quiet manager unlike sweet lou who wears his emotions on his sleeve. so i think that their leadership prolem will change and they will start to win games. they will start to score some runs once the weather heat up so we will be with Da cards at the end of the year.Why does a-rod make so much money??
As a cubs fan, I always look for the next year. However this year I think that the team has yet to finally mesh with each other and will begin to get productive and win. Remember, it is only week two of a long season. It is still snowing there.More Questions & Answers...
