Who do you think will be the 2007 MLB All-Star MVP?
I am going to give you the most honest answer your going to get in this forum. The chances of making the team are slim to none. Anybody that says softball is an easy sport knows nothing of the game. You would not be eligible to play freshman ball so it would either be J.V. or Varsity. Most girls at that level have been playing for years with many playing on travel/tournament teams a well. If you are really fast as a runner you may have a shot if the coach wants to carry a player to pinch run. I have been coaching for fifteen years and don't know any team that carried a player that had no skill except for speed. I am not telling you don't try, you may be a one in a million gifted athlete. Just don't feel to let down if you don't have the skills to make it. By the way, do you understand the game of women's softball and how its played. There are reasons why players do certain things when on the field and it comes with having played and instinct. Something a coach can't teach you.By the way it's never too late to start anything. Good luck to you.
Which player has hit the most grand slams in MLB history?
softball is pretty easy, and a little exercise should make you fit enough to play it. Softball isn't very hard to learn either.I'm just curious as to why Red Sox fans hate Johnny Damon?
Should you try out? Yes, why not? live life and see what happens. You dont have to be huge to play, matter of a fact smaller faster girls shine because there is so much bunting and slapping in the game.Is it a hard sport? no, the basic concept is easy but perfecting your swing and basic skills can get tough...even the pros have a hard time with it!
I say try out, have fun.
Yes, you should try out, but don't think it's easy, these young women are pretty good.
What time will the all star game being this year?
After 12 years of playing myself and now coaching my daughter I can tell you that softball is not an easy sport. If it is something that you are intrested in I do think it's worth trying out. You also need to remember that the girls who have been playing probably practice if not play almost year round, I know I did, so you will have to work hard and put in a lot of practice. But definatly give it a shot! What does "called up from minors-not to report" mean in baseball?
if you have never played before i really would not even try out unless it is for the jv and it depends how good the team is and you have to be in good shape and built at a good size to be a great player.More Questions & Answers...
