Yes but I think many many players of this era did, probably 50%. Roids will not help you hit the ball but they will help you hit the ball harder and not to even mention they let you recover faster from fatigue , thus your not as tired when playing back to back games. You point about being black is irrelevant to your question. You should never be embarrassed because of someone else's mistakes. Bonds isn't the only one guilty of this act as you have already indicated. Put it this way, true baseball fans will never accept Bonds as anything but a cheater. Aaron is the true career home run champion and Roger Maris is the true single season home run champion. There is be no records broken by Bonds, he will only pass Aaron's total, nothing more.
