How come games at U.S cellular field are dreary and ones at Wrigley are lively?
Question:When you see a game at wrigley it is sunny its shining on the ivy and its in a great location. But then you see "the cell" and frankly i get scared:) haha

U.S. Cellular doesn't come across as well on TV, but in person, it has actually evolved into a nice ballpark over the years. Asthetically, you can't really beat the backdrop at Wrigley...but I still think U.S. Cellular gets sort of a bad rap. Plus, the food is fantastic.Where did Barry Bonds hit homerun number 71?

i noticed that too. i think its because its located somewhere where the somethings blocks out the sun. Fans don't go there alot either.perceptions! I actually see it the exact opposite way.

I know what you mean, Cellular Field just has no atmosphere to it whatsoever plus I still hate the upper deck even after they supposedly fixed it, still feel like if you miss a step when coming from the very top, you could take a long fall onto the field! Probably because most Cubs games are during the day and most Sox games are at night. Also the Sox have yet to play at home in nice weather. As it gets into the summer months you will notice the Cell looking better.More Questions & Answers...
