How come when the Cubs trade a Player he becomes a star?

Question:Like Nomer Garciapara and i am willing to bet that if we ever traded Prior(not that we would) he would suddenly be an amazing pitcher , and free from all injury. I hope that we can do better our pitching staff(Kerry and Prior mostly) are so proned to injuries that it makes you wonder Why do we of all people have the worst luck? I mean we do have the best fans!

Which of the AL Central Teams has the best shot at winning it all?

If you expand the scope to include players the Cubs let get away as free agents, the list of players who performed better after leaving the Cubs goes on & on... Just look at the closers the Cubs have given up on alone -- Dennis Eckersley (HOF), Bruce Sutter (HOF), Lee Smith (s/b HOF), Willie Hernandez, Bill Caudill, Joe Borowski, Terry Adams. And then there's Greg Maddux (future HOF), Fergie Jenkins (HOF), Steve Stone, Joe Niekro, Craig Lefferts, Bill Madlock, Carmelo Martinez, Miguel Batista, Nomar, Miguel Dilone, Joe Girardi, Dontrelle Willis, Jon Garland, Oscar Gamble, Geoff Zahn, Larry Gura, Ken Holtzman, Joe Carter, Mel Hall, Manny Trillo, Scott Sanderson, Andre Thornton, Billy Hatcher, Pat Tabler, Heathcliff Slocumb. And more recently: Turk Wendell, Ismael Valdez, Ross Gload, Mark Grudzielanek, Kyle Farnsworth, Justin Speier, Tanyon Sturtze, Steve Trachsel, Julian Tavarez, Juan Cruz, Jon Leicester, Miguel Cairo, Matt Franco, Kyle Lohse, Corey Patterson, Andrew Sisco, Sergio Mitre, Ariel Pinto, Ricky Nolasco, David Aardsma, Brendan Harris. And of course, the all-time standard: Lou Brock. Who else can you folks remember?

In baseball stats pitchers get a W H L or BS. I know its Win Loss but how about the other two?

Ahhh that's an easy one, it's basic science. You see nobody likes the Cubs except for Cubs fans- not even their players enjoy playing for them. They know if they play bad enough they might get lucky enough to be traded or simply let go. Then it's off to greener pastures.

If there is man on 1 st and 2nd and its droped thired strike can they throw to 3rd and 2nd as forces?

because the cubs suck!! no really i will say if u look around that can be said for most teams now with free agency and giant contracts. as far as best fans i will say i go to atleast 1 cards-cubs game at wrigley a year, and i never been around such a large group of people just waiting for the worst to happen. but i will say it is an amazing place and great baseball eviornment.
