Today is Pete's birthday. If you can make it to the Reds Hall of Fame they are giving away 8x10 pictures of Charlie Hustle. As for your question, there is no doubt that Rose belongs in the HOF. Of course, as you probably know, Pete is more proud of the fact that he played in more winning games than having more hits than anyone else. Yes,. purest hitter in all of baseball. People make mistakes and I don't think he tried to make the Reds lose when/if he bet against them so that he would win more. I agree that Pete Rose as a player has earned to has some sort of mention in the HOF, being a Cincinnatian I do think he deserves enshirment.
