Curveball ? How To Pick It Up?
Question:I play highschool baseball and have difficulty picking up the curveball and hitting it, any advice that anyone has would be great on how to pick up a curve or get a better advantage on the pithcer to get a hit .. ?? Thanks alot

if you are in high school most pitchers dont have outstanding curves. every time you have an 0-2 count expect a curve. also notice when the pitchers arm comes at a weird angle with a weird wrist flick. pick up the spin on the ball. good luck.Lets just say you are Barry Bonds' personal trainer...?
The key to learning how to hit a curveball is facing a good bp pitcher with a good curveball and have him mix them in without you knowing. Do this often and you will be able to pick it up easier. If it is possible, try to face a lefty and a righty with a good curve often. When the pitch is coming if u look at it real close it makes a black line in the middle and then u can tell its a curveball. Keep working on it in batting practice and u should be able to hit it in no time! good luck on ur baseball season!i simply watch the spin, i can now pick them up easily but it came with practice. ull be able to too. i dont recommend listening to these others and not swinging or not expecting it. because most high school pitchers have a good curve and will throw it any pitch.
