Poor A.J., booed, punched, and booed some more?
Question:Why do places keep booing at Pierzynski when it makes no sense for him to be booed there. I can sorta understand the Angels, (even though they should just get over it) but I dont get it anywhere else. Whats up with that?

He's a guy people love to hate, i think he's ok though he brings something the game needs.THat's what happens when You're the Road, Fans in Boston, Anaheim, Cleveland, Detroit, THey don't have to like Him, or his Team but I think Player like Pierzynski should booed as Much look at Cub Fan they don't boo at AJ they Throw stuff at him, Yell at him even Worse Punch like their Catcher Mike Barrett and Start a Brawl.
I say White Sox and their fans are Cool, But the Cubs and their Fans are Stupid, They'll wait more then 100 years and still not have any idea why They are Losers.

AJ Pierzynski has a reputation in the league for being a trouble maker. He doesn't seem to get along with his teammates and he carries himself in a punk-like manner. Basically, he's like the bully in the school yard. When he was with the Giants, he was stirring up trouble in the clubhouse. I believe it was Brent Tomko who called him a "cancer to the ball club". In all honesty, he isn't that great of a catcher... there are better ones out there. Being the punk that he is, it doesn't seem to bother him one bit when he's booed... it's probably more of an ego boost.Do you like the minnesota twins??
Well, he does have a bad reputation. I'm a Sox fan and hear it all the time. It just that he seems to be in the middle of all of the parts in a baseball game. Like when Barrett punched him. AJ made a clean hit on him yet that makes other teams hate him. Also, he made the last all-star vote over 4 other team's players and they felt that he shouldn't have won which is ridiculous. He is a good guy, it's just that people don't like him.GO WHITE SOX!!!!!!

He's a guy people love to hate, especially since he usually ends up making their favorite team look bad. It's popular for people to call him a punk even though people can never point out a specific situation where he has acted like one. They like to say he is a cancer in the clubhouse even though every single player on the White Sox has spoken positively on their experience with him in the clubhouse. They like to say he is a cheater, even though they can never point out a specific instance where he has cheated. They call him over rated, even though he never gets high ratings. He also made the All Star team last year, so he has to be pretty good. Overall I think people just use him as a scape goat and it provides them with an excuse for when their team gets pounded by the White Sox. But hey, if it makes people feel better about them selves by calling him names, then that's their problem.
