Is Tim Lincecum the real deal? what do u think?
Question:I've been closely following this guy. He supposedly throws 100 and hes only 6 foot.
i just picked him up for my cbs sportsline league.
im wondering, is he going to be one of the best?

I've also been tuning into his outings down in Fresno. As a matter of fact, I had the opportunity to go to the ballpark this past monday when he started against the Tucson Sidewinders and Tim was very impressive. He had brilliant command and came within 2 outs of pitching a 7 inning no hitter. So far, Lincecum has a record of 3-0 with a 0.36 ERA, with 32 Ks in 25 innings pitched. From what I can tell, he is definitely the real deal. Nice video.Is the downfall of the yankees the fault of steinbrenner? or the GM, CASHMAN?
He's liget. I saw him pitch here at the UW and had buddys who played against him. He's got the whole package and uses his body very well. Tim's going to be fun to watch, everyone is starting to pick him up in their fantasy leagues. I drafted him. Haha.Dream pitching rotation of now day players ?
he has insane stuff - about 100mph. i would compare him to felix hernandez. he is going to be great, because people cant catch up to that in the MLB...closers throw that hard, and most are untouchable. he is going to start throwing that hard, and he can do it for a long period - like a full 9 inning game, so he is a gem! hes going to be great!What is the greatest pitching rotation of all time?
Definitly last time i looked he had a 0.00 ERA in his first 3 starts in AAAhe might be but I doubt he will get a chance at the majors this year unless one of the San Fran pitchers gets hurt. Zito, Cain, and Lowry are pretty much set for the season. Morris is pitching great, and Ortiz did well his last start. If Ortiz does good again in today's start I dont think Lincecum has a chance at the majors this year and should be dropped.
