What is the value of a baseball autogrpahed by the 1967 red sox?

Question:its the 40th anniversary. Is there anywhere that I can get a free apraisal? The ball is in perfect condition wrapped in the original box the ball came in. Stored in a safe. The ball was only touched by the players themselves and not one person has touched it since then. The ink is still perfect, not turned green or anything. It is autographed by the entire 1967 sox.

As a die hard Sox fan I'd give my left arm for it...

From another site, I saw this "same" question with an answer from someone who might know:

Q: My grandfather gave me a ball autographed by the 1967 Red Sox pennant team. He got it from someone who was close with the team at the time, and had the entire team sign the ball.
A: I've been an avid memorabilia collector for almost 20 years now. I'd say getting about $500 for the ball is feasible, but $1000 wouldn't be out of the question. You might think this is low, but I've noticed a drop in memorabilia value over the past few years.

You can probably locate a Baseball Card and Memorabilia show near you by looking on the web. A site similar to this might be a good place to start:

http://news.tradingcard.com/

Then go to the "Shows" and "Dealers" links and find something in your area that you could take it to for appraisal. You could always throw it up on eBay with a rediculous asking price to see if you get any bites. Good luck.

What are some good second baseman gloves for under $100?

jack * bc they got beat by Bob Gibson and the St. Louis Cardinals! Go Cards!

I would like to know what they do with broken bats at a MLB game.?

Is it truly signed by them all or is it a simulated signature ball?

The Yaz autograph alone is worth a lot.

You would need to go to a dealer to determine the authenticity of it or some sports memorabilia shop

Stat tracker?

1967 was their world series year,I would buy a cubicle to store the ball since acids in the air,the box,can cause the ball to tone, plus the autos would fade, guess of value 1500--2500 dollars if all are orginal and not machine made
